Atyab Al Marshoud is a multi-generation company that was established in 1925, one of the oldest in the perfume industry in Kuwait and the GCC. ↔️
The late Sulaiman Al Marshoud founded Atyab Al Marshoud in 1925 and was the first fragrance company established in the Gulf. Atyab Al Marshoud has now carried on by his family over the decades.
The new generation has successfully added a modern edge without losing the historic and traditional aspects that are at the core of Atyab Al Marshoud.
We have also modernized our scents from the traditional and authentic Bakhoor and oud, creating a unique collection of fragrances that satisfies the different tastes of our ever-growing clientele.
In the last 5 years, we have expanded in the GCC with over 56 branches and have just opened our newest store in Knightsbridge, London which is our first branch out of the GCC. All our fragrances are manufactured in our factory in France as our main priority is to produce the best quality fragrances in the region.
Import & Purchasing Officer
Responsibilities:
- Maintain control and ensure regulations for all import and export processes, monitor work according to corporate and local policies, evaluate all new customs requirements, and supervise everyday operations according to standard procedures.
- Assist in obtaining all required import permits and export licenses for all processes.
- Coordinate with marketing and sourcing department to establish an efficient export classification and prepare tariff schedule.
- Provide an efficient interface with freight forwarders, administer all freight logistics, provide an optimal level of customer service, and resolve all shipment issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in import, purchasing, or procurement.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of purchasing and order management software.
- Good negotiation skills and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to easily comprehend and organize shipment processes.
- Fluent in English is preferred.
- Arabic language will be an added advantage.

المسؤوليات:
- الحفاظ على الرقابة وضمان الالتزام بجميع عمليات الاستيراد والتصدير، ومراقبة العمل وفقًا للسياسات المحلية والشركات، وتقييم جميع متطلبات الجمارك الجديدة، والإشراف على العمليات اليومية وفقًا للإجراءات القياسية.
- المساعدة في الحصول على جميع التصاريح الجمركية المطلوبة للتصدير والتوريد.

المؤهلات:
- درجة بكالوريوس في إدارة سلسلة التوريد أو مجال ذي صلة.
- خبرة 3 سنوات أو أكثر في الاستيراد أو المشتريات أو التوريد.
- مهارات تحليلية واتصال ممتازة.
- إتقان استخدام برامج الشراء وإدارة الطلبات.
- مهارات تفاوض جيدة وقدرة على اتخاذ القرارات.
- القدرة على فهم وتنظيم عمليات الشحن بسهولة.
- إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية مفضل.
- اللغة العربية ستكون ميزة إضافية.
