Seeking Senior Accountant

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team.
•  The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. 
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, preferably within the contracting or construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Manage the company''s financial accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• 2. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• 3. Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• 4. Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• 5. Coordinate and assist with annual audits and tax filings.
• 6. Review and reconcile financial discrepancies, investigating and resolving issues as needed.
• 7. Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and improve efficiency.
• 8. Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

Requirements:

• 1. Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• 2. 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
• 3. Prior experience in the contracting or construction industry is highly desirable.
• 4. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• 5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
• 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
