Kapia Partners have teamed up with an AI Drug Discovery company that has positioned itself as a global leader in drug discovery, through utilizing Genomics, large data and machine learning. They are committed to revolutionizing the pharmaceutical industry by accelerating the discovery and development of life-saving drugs. For them to accelerate their already explosive growth, they are seeking a VP of Global Partnerships who shares their passion for innovation and has a proven track record of success in pharma/biopharma and asset licensing and partnering.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a global partnership strategy for the company
Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities to expand our business and drive growth
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries
Negotiate and close deals with potential partners, including asset licensing and partnering agreements
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of partnership agreements
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
10+ years of experience in pharma/biopharma and asset licensing and partnering
Proven track record of success in developing and executing global partnership strategies
Strong understanding of the drug discovery and development process
Experience within innovative ML & AI companies is beneficial
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking

We are working on an exciting FAS - EMEA opportunity for an industry-leading Biotechnology company who are looking to expand its Application Support team in Europe.
We are looking for a motivated FAS in the field of genomics with NGS sample prep, automation and scriptwriting experience (particularly with Hamilton, Beckman, and/or Agilent products). Ideally, 1-5 years of experience.
