Responsibilities:
- Configure, tuning and administrating oracle database.
- Configure, tuning and administrating Oracle E-business Database 12.2.
- Install, patch and maintain all Oracle software.
- Tune all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL.
- Control all migrations of Oracle schema objects.
- Design and implement a backup & recovery system.
- Implement Oracle failover technology.
- Install and upgrading the Oracle server and application tools.
- Allocate system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system.
- Create primary database storage structures (table spaces) after application developers have designed an application.
- Create primary objects (tables, views, indexes) once application developers have designed an application.
- Modify the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers.
- Enroll users and maintaining system security.
- Control and monitoring user access to the database.
- Monitor and optimizing the performance of the database.
- Plan for backup and recovery of database information.
- Maintain archived data on tape.
- Back up and restoring the database.
