Resident Engineer (Roads and Bridges)
Job Summar
- The Resident Engineer–Roads and Bridges responsible for construction supervision aspects of roads and bridges projects.
- This includes managing multiple sites, ensuring contractors’ compliance with contract requirements, and maintaining accurate records.
- The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in large-scale bridge construction/reconstruction/rehabilitation projects and a strong understanding of international engineering standards.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in road and bridge construction/reconstruction/rehabilitation projects, with at least 8 years specifically in roads and bridges.
- Excellent knowledge of construction supervision services, techniques, and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
- Solid knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to road and bridge construction.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and coordinate complex construction projects.
- Ability to resolve technical issues and provide guidance to the project team.
- Good skills in preparing reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing quality, cost, safety, and site work progress.
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under tight deadlines.
