- The Information Technology department at the Australian University (AU) invites applications for an Administrator- Network position with expertise in Palo Alto firewall configuration, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, internet, and intranet systems.
- Install and maintain network hardware and software.
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
- Evaluate and modify system's performance.
- Determine network and system requirements.
- Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
- Design and deploy networks.
- Perform network address assignment.
- Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
- Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
- Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.

Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers is necessary.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Wireless Controllers and Access Points is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with users is necessary.
- Experience or equivalent certifications demonstrating proficiency supporting Microsoft products, including Windows and Office is required.
- CCNA certification is necessary.
- Medium level of English Language proficiency.
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised, and as a member of a team.
