Statutory Reporting Accountant (2555)

Roles & Responsibilities: 

1. Accounting Policies, Systems and Procedures:

• Maintain or develop policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure compliance with all local, regional and international rules and regulations.

2. Financial Activities:

• Complete assigned daily ledger entries and other financial transactions including overseeing monthly closing activities in accordance with accounting principles to ensure that all generated reports and statements are accurate, up to date and in compliance with all local,regional and international rules and regulations.

3. Reporting:

• Prepare periodical financial reports as required in order to provide EQUATE top management with the necessary information and progress for decision‐making. 
• Prepare and produce statistical reports for the comparison between the current situation and budgeted forecast. i.e. Profit and Loss Statements. 

4. Communication:

• Communicate and coordinate  with EQUATE departments for collection of information to facilitate financial reporting. 

5. Kuwait Government Reports:

• Prepare  reports  required  by  Kuwaiti  governmental  bodies  to  ensure  accurate  and  timely reporting in compliance with local rules and regulations. 

6. Internal and External Audits 

• Provide  information to EQUATE’s internal and external auditors to  ensure  compliance with audit requirements.

7. Tax Declaration:

• Coordinate  with  the  tax  consultant and provide the required information to ensure that EQUATE completes tax declaration filing and assessment and in compliance with local taxation regulations.  

 

8. Continuous improvement:

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Statutory Reporting systems, processes and practicetaking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

9. EH&S Focus:

• Comply  with  all  relevant  health,  safety,  security  and  environmental  management  policies, procedures  and  controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and aresponsible environmental attitude. 

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor of science degree in accounting
• 5-8 years of accounting working experience with a focus on statutory reporting and compliance that include the following:
• Strong knowledge and experience of local and international accounting standards (such as IFRS or GAAP) and regulatory requirements for financial reporting.
• Proven experience with accounting reconciliations and oversee assigned daily ledgers.
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring they comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working with internationally recognized auditing firms is preferable.
• A professional accounting qualification such as CPA, and ACCA is preferable.

الأدوار والمسؤوليات: 

1. السياسات والأنظمة والإجراءات المحاسبية:

• الحفاظ على أو تطوير السياسات والعمليات وإجراءات التشغيل القياسية والتعليمات لضمان الامتثال لجميع القواعد واللوائح المحلية والإقليمية والدولية.

2. الأنشطة المالية:

• إكمال القيود اليومية المخصصة للدفاتر والمعاملات المالية الأخرى بما في ذلك الإشراف على أنشطة الإغلاق الشهرية وفقًا لمبادئ المحاسبة لضمان أن تكون جميع التقارير والبيانات الناتجة دقيقة وحديثة ومتوافقة مع جميع القواعد واللوائح المحلية والإقليمية والدولية.

3. التقارير:

• إعداد التقارير المالية الدورية حسب الحاجة لتزويد الإدارة العليا في شركة ايكويت بالمعلومات اللازمة والتقدم اللازم لاتخاذ القرار. 
• إعداد وإنتاج التقارير الإحصائية للمقارنة بين الوضع الحالي والتوقعات الميزانية. أي بيانات الربح والخسارة. 

4. التواصل:

• التواصل والتنسيق مع أقسام شركة ايكويت لجمع المعلومات لتسهيل إعداد التقارير المالية. 

5. تقارير حكومة الكويت:

• إعداد التقارير المطلوبة من قبل الهيئات الحكومية الكويتية لضمان تقديم التقارير الدقيقة وفي الوقت المناسب بما يتوافق مع القواعد واللوائح المحلية. 

6. التدقيق الداخلي والخارجي 

• توفير المعلومات لمراجعي شركة ايكويت الداخليين والخارجيين لضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات التدقيق.

7. الإقرار الضريبي:

• التنسيق مع المستشار الضريبي وتقديم المعلومات المطلوبة لضمان قيام شركة ايكويت بإكمال تقديم الإقرار الضريبي وتقييمه وفقًا للأنظمة الضريبية المحلية.  

 

8. التحسين المستمر:

• المساهمة في تحديد فرص التحسين المستمر لأنظمة التقارير القانونية والعمليات والممارسات مع الأخذ في الاعتبار "أفضل الممارسات الدولية"، وتحسين العمليات التجارية، وخفض التكاليف وتحسين الإنتاجية.

9. التركيز على الصحة والسلامة والبيئة:

• الالتزام بجميع سياسات وإجراءات وضوابط إدارة الصحة والسلامة والأمن والبيئة ذات الصلة لضمان سلامة الموظفين والامتثال للتشريعات والموقف البيئي المسؤول. 

متطلبات التعليم والخبرة:

• درجة البكالوريوس في العلوم المحاسبية
• 5-8 سنوات من الخبرة العملية في مجال المحاسبة مع التركيز على التقارير القانونية والامتثال والتي تشمل ما يلي:
• - معرفة وخبرة قوية في معايير المحاسبة المحلية والدولية (مثل IFRS أو GAAP) والمتطلبات التنظيمية للتقارير المالية.
• خبرة مثبتة في عمليات تسوية الحسابات والإشراف على السجلات اليومية المخصصة.
• خبرة مثبتة في إعداد ومراجعة البيانات المالية، والتأكد من امتثالها للمعايير والأنظمة المحاسبية ذات الصلة.
• الكفاءة في برامج المحاسبة وأنظمة تخطيط موارد المؤسسات (SAP) ومهارات Excel المتقدمة.
• يفضل أن تكون لديه خبرة في العمل مع شركات التدقيق المعترف بها دوليا.
• يفضل أن يكون لديك مؤهل محاسبي احترافي مثل CPA و ACCA.
