Director - Transport
Roles And Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Define transmission network architecture, topology, and requirements for interactions between different network elements, and high-level performance parameters and coordinate with other team leaders.
- Contribute to the development of network and end-to-end solutions supporting key products and services according to the business roadmap.
- Prepare strategy reports about new technologies and services and their potential impact (quantitative analysis).
- Lead the development of feasibility studies for the implementation of new products and services.
- Develop short to mid-term roll-out plans to guarantee that the network meets demand requirements at optimal levels of CAPEX/OPEX.
- Develop technical specifications of tenders related to transmission design projects.
- Establish transmission network-related technical guidelines for STC Network GM as well as for the project team.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Telecom Planning and Transport.

- المساهمة في تطوير حلول الشبكة والحلول الشاملة التي تدعم المنتجات والخدمات الرئيسية وفقًا لخريطة الطريق التجارية.
- إعداد تقارير استراتيجية حول التقنيات والخدمات الجديدة وتأثيراتها المحتملة (تحليل كمي).
- قيادة تطوير دراسات الجدوى لتنفيذ المنتجات والخدمات الجديدة.
- تطوير خطط تنفيذ قصيرة ومتوسطة المدى لضمان تلبية الشبكة لمتطلبات الطلب بأفضل مستويات من CAPEX / OPEX.
- تطوير المواصفات الفنية للمناقصات المتعلقة بمشاريع تصميم النقل.
- إنشاء إرشادات فنية متعلقة بشبكة النقل لمدير عام الشبكة في STC وأيضًا للفريق المشروع.
لكي يتم النظر فيك لهذا الدور، يجب أن تستوفي المتطلبات التالية:
- درجة البكاليريوس في الهندسة.
- ما لا يقل عن عشرة (10) سنوات من الخبرة في تخطيط الاتصالات والنقل.
