Process & Senior Engineers
Role Description
- The Senior Process Engineer position is a full-time role responsible for supporting the design, optimization, and operation of oil and gas surface facilities across various project phases.
- The role involves providing process engineering expertise during early production, field development, and surface facility projects, while ensuring alignment with KOC standards, safety requirements, and the stage-gate project delivery system.
Key Responsibilities
- • Perform process design and process engineering activities for oil and gas surface facilities.
- • Support early production facilities (EPF) and fast-track development projects.
- • Conduct process simulations, flow assurance studies, and hydraulic analyses to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- • Participate in surface facility projects across all phases, including concept selection, pre-FEED, FEED, and execution.
- • Apply process optimization and control strategies to enhance production efficiency and operational flexibility.
- • Provide technical input during stage-gate reviews, ensuring compliance with project objectives and corporate governance requirements.
- • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including operations, drilling, production, and project management.
- • Support troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and operational improvements for existing facilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
- • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry for the senior level.
- • Strong background in process design, process engineering, and process optimization.
- • Proven experience in process control systems and operational troubleshooting.
- • Hands-on involvement in early production business and fast-track developments.
- • Experience with surface facility projects, including familiarity with stage-gate project systems.
- • Solid knowledge of flow assurance studies and simulation tools.
- • Familiarity with GIS systems is considered an advantage.
- • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
