Requirements
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of extensive Civil Construction experience, specifically gained within the Oil & Gas sector.
Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in site inspection, comprehensive material testing procedures, Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management, and detailed quality reporting.
Standards Knowledge: In-depth, verifiable knowledge of major industrial codes and standards, including KOC (Kuwait Oil Company), JO (Joint Operations), ACI, ASTM, and ISO quality management standards.
Project History: Previous experience in Oil & Gas construction projects is mandatory.
Advantage: Prior approvals or certification from KOC / JO projects will be considered a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
Site Inspection: Conduct thorough and systematic site inspections of all civil construction activities (e.g., concrete, structural steel, earthworks) to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality plans.
Quality Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection reports, test results, and material certification.
NCR Management: Proactively identify non-conformances, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closeout.
Material Control: Oversee the inspection and testing of incoming materials to verify compliance with specified requirements before installation.
Compliance: Ensure all work adheres strictly to relevant industrial codes, client specifications (KOC/JO), and international quality standards (ISO).
