Hiring: Cost Engineer – Project Controls

Experience Required:

• 3–5 years in Cost Engineering and Project Controls within construction projects

• Strong exposure to budgeting, cost control, reporting, and scheduling

Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Engineer to support cost estimation, budgeting, cost control, and project monitoring. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, progress tracking, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise:

Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost breakdowns based on drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements

Cost Control Systems:

• Implement and monitor cost control systems

• Track actual costs versus budget and analyze variances

Project Planning & Monitoring:

• Support project planning activities and monitor progress against cost and schedule baselines

Primavera P6 Utilization:

• Use Primavera P6 for cost loading, resource loading, progress tracking, and performance analysis

Earned Value Management (EVM):

• Prepare and analyze EVM reports including CPI, SPI, cost variance, and schedule variance

Monthly Cost Reporting:

• Prepare monthly cost reports, cost-to-complete, cash flow forecasts, and management dashboards

Quantity Takeoff & BOQ Review:

• Perform quantity takeoff and review BOQs to ensure accuracy and completeness

Coordination & Collaboration:

• Work closely with Planning, Procurement, Estimation, and Project Management teams

Documentation & Professional Reporting:

• Maintain organized cost data, reports, and project financial records

Educational Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) – Mandatory

• Professional certification or training in Cost Engineering, Cost Management, or Project Planning – Preferred

• Primavera P6, PMP, or PICs certification is an added advantage

• Strong background in cost management and project planning

• Proficiency in Primavera P6

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

• Experience in preparing monthly cost reports

• Ability to work in a bilingual environment (English required – Arabic preferred)

أنظمة التحكم في التكاليف:

• تنفيذ ومتابعة أنظمة التحكم في التكاليف

• متابعة التكاليف الفعلية مقارنة بالميزانية وتحليل الفروقات

تخطيط المشاريع ومتابعتها:

• دعم أنشطة تخطيط المشاريع ومتابعة التقدم مقارنة بالميزانية والجدول الزمني

استخدام Primavera P6:

• استخدام Primavera P6 لتحميل التكاليف، الموارد، متابعة التقدم، وتحليل الأداء

إدارة القيمة المكتسبة (EVM):

• إعداد وتحليل تقارير EVM بما يشمل CPI, SPI, الفروقات في التكلفة والجدول الزمني

إعداد التقارير الشهرية للتكلفة:

• إعداد تقارير تكلفة شهرية، تكلفة الإنجاز المتبقية، توقعات التدفقات النقدية، ولوحات المعلومات الإدارية

مراجعة الكميات وجداول الكميات (BOQ):

• تنفيذ مراجعة الكميات وBOQ لضمان الدقة والكمال

التنسيق والتعاون:

• العمل عن كثب مع فرق التخطيط، المشتريات، التقديرات، وإدارة المشاريع

التوثيق وإعداد التقارير المهنية:

• الحفاظ على بيانات التكاليف المنظمة، التقارير، والسجلات المالية للمشاريع

المؤهلات والمهارات التعليمية:

• بكالوريوس هندسة (مدنية، ميكانيكية، أو كهربائية) – إلزامي

• شهادات أو تدريب مهني في هندسة التكلفة أو إدارة التكلفة أو تخطيط المشاريع – مفضل

• شهادة Primavera P6، PMP، أو PICs ميزة إضافية

• خبرة قوية في إدارة التكاليف وتخطيط المشاريع

• إجادة استخدام Primavera P6

• معرفة متقدمة بـ MS Excel

• خبرة في إعداد تقارير تكلفة شهرية

• القدرة على العمل في بيئة ثنائية اللغة (الإنجليزية مطلوبة – العربية ميزة)
