CNC Programmer / Operator (Wood)
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (specifically ELECNC 2040) for wood and furniture components.
Interpret technical shop drawings and cutting lists to develop accurate CNC programs.
Utilize software like AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, or Cabinet Vision to optimize production and reduce waste.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Coordinate with the carpentry and finishing teams to ensure final products meet design specifications.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the wood or furniture industry.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of wood materials (MDF, plywood, veneer, solid wood) and CNC routers.
Skills: Strong ability to read shop drawings and operate ELECNC 2040 machinery.
