Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Dry utilities
About this job
- The Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Dry Utilities is the primary “Architect” of the road design and creates the overall road alignments, dimensions, and Right of Way (ROW).
- This Engineer will create the container envelop for all other infrastructure services to run within the road service corridors and ROW. In addition, he/she will be responsible for creating the road profiles and grading that determine the slope and design parameters for the other gravity services and interfaces with adjacent buildings and spaces.
- In a Senior Engineer role, he/she will provide expert advice and leadership to a team of roads and dry utilities engineers to deliver complex projects under Company Digital Delivery process. He/she will also set out the authority approvals strategy and engage with authority reviewing engineer.
- Creates and determines the technical design parameters for the road and service corridors.
- Interprets the traffic study inputs and outputs and adjusts the design parameters accordingly
- Sets the design method and standards for the gravity services running within the road
- Conducts the storm water design analysis and recommendations based on hydrologic analysis reports.
- Liaise with local authorities in obtaining the necessary Authority Approvals for projects.
- Reviews the progress and final design at each stage and shares with other team members and other design teams.
- Validates the design through simulations and calculations.
- Undertakes the coordination of services with other infrastructure works
- Prepare the concept design.
- Prepare the detailed design.
- Prepare production information.
- Prepare tender documentation.
- Prepares and updates typical details to suit the specific project requirements.
- Education : BSC in Civil Engineering with specialization in Roads and Traffic Engineering from a recognized and reputable university - Master’s Degree is preferred
- Certifications : Ability to be Registered in Kuwait Society of Engineers and KSA Society of Engineers PE or PEng or equivalent will be highly considered preferably
- Professional Experience : 12+ years’ experience in Roads and dry utilities engineering design and integrated project delivery. 5+ years of the experience out of the professional years in a Senior Engineer position or equivalent.
- Site Supervision will not be counted towards the experience and it must be Design experience.

- سيقوم المهندس بإنشاء غلاف الحاوية لجميع خدمات البنية التحتية الأخرى لتشغيلها داخل ممرات خدمة الطرق وحق المرور. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، سيكون مسؤولاً عن إنشاء ملفات تعريف الطرق وتصنيفها التي تحدد المنحدر ومعايير التصميم لخدمات الجاذبية الأخرى والواجهات مع المباني والمساحات المجاورة.

- يقوم بإنشاء وتحديد معايير التصميم الفني للطرق والممرات الخدمية.
- يفسر مدخلات ومخرجات دراسة المرور ويضبط معلمات التصميم وفقًا لذلك
- يحدد طريقة التصميم والمعايير الخاصة بخدمات الجاذبية التي تعمل داخل الطريق
- إجراء تحليل تصميم مياه الأمطار والتوصيات بناءً على تقارير التحليل الهيدرولوجي.
- التواصل مع السلطات المحلية للحصول على الموافقات اللازمة للمشاريع.
- يقوم بمراجعة التقدم والتصميم النهائي في كل مرحلة ويشاركه مع أعضاء الفريق الآخرين وفرق التصميم الأخرى.
- التحقق من صحة التصميم من خلال المحاكاة والحسابات.
- يتولى تنسيق الخدمات مع أعمال البنية التحتية الأخرى
- إعداد التصميم المفهومي.
- إعداد التصميم التفصيلي.
- إعداد معلومات الإنتاج.
- إعداد وثائق العطاء.
- يقوم بإعداد وتحديث التفاصيل النموذجية لتناسب متطلبات المشروع المحددة.
- التعليم: بكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية مع التخصص في هندسة الطرق والمرور من جامعة معترف بها وذات سمعة طيبة - يفضل الحصول على درجة الماجستير
- الشهادات: القدرة على التسجيل في جمعية المهندسين الكويتية وجمعية المهندسين السعودية. سيتم النظر في PE أو PEng أو ما يعادلها بشكل مفضل.
- الخبرة المهنية: خبرة لا تقل عن 12 عامًا في تصميم الطرق والمرافق الجافة وتسليم المشاريع المتكاملة. خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات من سنوات الخبرة المهنية في منصب مهندس أول أو ما يعادله.
- لن يتم احتساب الإشراف على الموقع ضمن الخبرة ويجب أن تكون خبرة في التصميم.
