EH&S Officer
- Location: Kuwait
- Full/ Part-time
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure business continuity by proactively identifying and managing EH&S aspects, impacts, hazards, and risk. Ensure the mitigation of EH&S aspects, impacts, hazards, and risk in all business decisions through management of change.
- Provide advice and counsel to field operations on all matters relating to EH&S issues, programs, and systems. Support field operations to implement all the EH&S requirements including the EH&S Operating System, Carrier Lead with Safety Commitments, EHS Standard Practices (SP’s) and Standard Work Instructions (SWI).
- Conduct EH&S inspections, audits and Risk Assessments at customer sites, company premises (workshops, warehouses, offices) to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and company EH&S Operating System.
- Ensure that all country regulatory EH&S requirements are known, understood, and properly implemented. Keep abreast of any new/emerging local regulation affecting our operations.
- Lead and direct the investigation of all accidents/incidents, identify root causes of accidents, and develop corrective action plans and follow-up of accidents, near misses to ensure that effective corrective actions are implemented to prevent repetitions.
- Ensure that correct and timely reporting of EHS data in company (Enablon) EHS reporting system.
- Provide the leadership and guidance necessary to achieve integration of EH&S considerations into all aspects of the business. Stimulate a culture of hazard awareness and prevention that drives to Zero incidents.
- Prepare annual EH&S training plan based on EH&S Risk Assessment and conduct trainings as per the plan. Ensure all new employees undergo EHS Orientation prior to starting the job.
- Establish and implement contractor EHS qualifying, on-boarding, Training program and audit program.
- Review monthly supervisor inspections and quarterly management audits reports, follow-up actions to tack to closure.
- Review regulatory compliance records and report any non-compliance in Enablon reporting system. (Fire, Municipality permits, Forklift license, lifting gear certifications)
- Ensure full compliance with Carrier EHS policies and Code of Ethics.
We are looking for people who has as a minimum you must have:
- University Graduate BA/ BS degree in Environmental Safety and Health or related degree, or related field.
- International accredited Certification in EH&S such as NEBOSH or equivalent is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in managing/leading EH&S in the field.
- Experience with global corporations and a multicultural working environment.

- ضمان استمرارية الأعمال من خلال تحديد وإدارة جوانب الصحة والسلامة والبيئة والتأثيرات والمخاطر بشكل استباقي. ضمان التخفيف من جوانب الصحة والسلامة والبيئة والتأثيرات والمخاطر والمخاطر في جميع القرارات التجارية من خلال إدارة التغيير.

- التأكد من معرفة جميع متطلبات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة التنظيمية في الدولة وفهمها وتنفيذها بشكل صحيح. مواكبة أي لوائح محلية جديدة/ناشئة تؤثر على عملياتنا.
- قيادة وتوجيه التحقيق في جميع الحوادث / الوقائع، وتحديد الأسباب الجذرية للحوادث، وتطوير خطط العمل التصحيحية ومتابعة الحوادث، والحوادث التي كادت تقع لضمان تنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية الفعالة لمنع التكرار.
- ضمان الإبلاغ الصحيح وفي الوقت المناسب لبيانات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة في نظام إعداد التقارير الخاص بالشركة (Enablon).
- توفير القيادة والتوجيه اللازمين لتحقيق تكامل اعتبارات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة في جميع جوانب العمل. تحفيز ثقافة الوعي بالمخاطر والوقاية منها والتي تؤدي إلى عدم وقوع أي حوادث.
- إعداد خطة سنوية للتدريب على الصحة والسلامة والبيئة بناءً على تقييم مخاطر الصحة والسلامة والبيئة وإجراء التدريبات وفقًا للخطة. التأكد من خضوع جميع الموظفين الجدد للتوجيه بشأن الصحة والسلامة والبيئة قبل بدء العمل.
- إنشاء وتنفيذ برنامج تأهيل المقاولين في مجال الصحة والسلامة والبيئة، وبرنامج التدريب، وبرنامج التدقيق.
- مراجعة عمليات التفتيش الشهرية للمشرفين وتقارير التدقيق الإداري الفصلية، وإجراءات المتابعة للوصول إلى الإغلاق.
- مراجعة سجلات الامتثال التنظيمي والإبلاغ عن أي عدم امتثال في نظام الإبلاغ Enablon. (الحريق، تصاريح البلدية، رخصة الرافعة الشوكية، شهادات معدات الرفع)
- ضمان الامتثال الكامل لسياسات الشركة في مجال الصحة والسلامة والبيئة وقواعد الأخلاقيات.
نحن نبحث عن الأشخاص الذين يجب أن يكون لديهم على الأقل:
- خريج جامعي درجة البكالوريوس في السلامة البيئية والصحة أو درجة ذات صلة، أو مجال ذي صلة.
- يفضل الحصول على شهادة دولية معتمدة في مجال الصحة والسلامة والبيئة مثل NEBOSH أو ما يعادلها.
- - 3 سنوات من الخبرة في إدارة/قيادة الصحة والسلامة والبيئة في هذا المجال.
- خبرة في العمل مع الشركات العالمية وبيئة عمل متعددة الثقافات.
