Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Technician
Overview
This position is based in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP. Under the supervision of the Audio Visual Technician Lead, this role is primarily responsible for the new installation and maintenance of CCTV systems to support the ASG-KU mission.
Responsibilities
- Design, install, and program new CCTV systems for Area Support Group Kuwait (ASG-KU).
- Maintain existing CCTV systems for ASG-KU or facilities assigned by ASG-KU.
- Operate, maintain, and install communications systems, including outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP).
- Install conduit, Panduit, and cables such as CAT 6, HDMI, and VGA to professional standards.
- Set up and dismantle equipment for AV events.
- Test and troubleshoot networking and cabling issues related to CCTV systems; terminate coaxial, fiber, and copper cables for analog and IP-based CCTV systems.
- Install CCTV support infrastructure (brackets, racks).
- Program both analog and IP-based CCTV systems.
- Maintain and organize cable and equipment.
Materials & Equipment Used
- Audio peripherals, high-definition digital cameras, truss stands/lifts
- Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, CAD software
- Soldering iron, hand tools, power tools, AV test equipment
- Audio, video, and network connectors
- Computer, printer, network equipment, Visio software, lighting control system
- Bucket truck, scissor lift
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must maintain Secret Clearance.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in English, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Customer Service: Previous customer service training.
- Driver’s License: Ability to obtain a Kuwait driver’s license with a heavy vehicle endorsement.
- Education: ITI / High School diploma in IT or electronics; Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
Experience
- Customer Service: 1-2 years of experience.
- CCTV Installation and Maintenance: Minimum of 2 years of experience in installation and maintenance of CCTV systems, equipment, and software.
- Audio/Visual Systems: 1-3 years of experience in audio/visual system design, installation, or programming.
- ISP/OSP Installation: Minimum of 1 year experience in ISP/OSP, including cable installation, conduit work, and trenching.

المؤهلات

- خدمة العملاء: تدريب سابق في خدمة العملاء.
- رخصة القيادة: القدرة على الحصول على رخصة قيادة كويتية بتصريح مركبة ثقيلة.
- التعليم: دبلوم ITI/مدرسة ثانوية في تكنولوجيا المعلومات أو الإلكترونيات؛ يفضل درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة.
الخبرة
- خدمة العملاء: 1-2 سنوات من الخبرة.
- تركيب وصيانة CCTV: خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في تركيب وصيانة أنظمة CCTV والمعدات والبرامج.
- أنظمة الصوت والصورة: 1-3 سنوات من الخبرة في تصميم وتركيب أو برمجة أنظمة الصوت والصورة.
- تركيب ISP/OSP: خبرة لا تقل عن سنة واحدة في ISP/OSP، بما في ذلك تركيب الكابلات، العمل بالقنوات، وحفر الخنادق.
