Job Description
Develop and implement infrastructure designs for various projects including roads, water networks, sanitation systems, and fire protection systems.
Prepare and review detailed engineering documents such as equipment schedules, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and execution drawings.
Oversee site execution to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth and effective workflow.
Communicate with consultants, contractors, and local authorities to secure technical approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
Ensure project timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements are met.
Provide technical support and supervise site teams as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure works and services including water, sanitation, and fire protection systems.
Good knowledge of local standards, quality assurance, and safety requirements in Kuwait.
Proficient in engineering design and drafting software such as AutoCAD and project management tools.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and execution plans.
Strong communication skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
KSE membership or eligibility is preferred.
Mechanical Engineer
Develop mechanical design strategies and contribute to technical and commercial proposals.
Prepare and validate detailed engineering documents like equipment schedules, BOQs, and design layouts.
Oversee site installations, monitor progress, and ensure works align with project specifications.
Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Participate in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure smooth execution across trades.
Communicate with consultants, contractors, and local authorities for technical compliance and approvals.
Ensure project timelines, safety standards, and quality expectations are met.
Support and guide junior engineers and supervise works on-site.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
10+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems in buildings (commercial, residential, high-rise, healthcare, etc.).
Hands-on knowledge of Kuwait's construction and regulatory standards.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and mechanical design tools.
Knowledge of relevant codes: ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and local codes.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
KSE membership or eligibility is a plus.
