Qualifications
- At least 1-year work experience as Commis I or 2 years as Apprentice in a hotel or restaurant with good standards.
- Basic Culinary skills – prefer work experience in hot kitchen / Garde Manger / ala carte kitchen.
- Basic food hygiene knowledge or completed HACCP foundation course would be an added advantage.
- Hands on experience with the basics of Cuisines like – Indian / Arabic / Continental.
Sous Chef - Banquets
A potential candidate should ideally have:
- Minimum 2 years work experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards and specifically Banquets experience.
- Preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
Sous Chef
Summary
- As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
- The Sous Chef is responsible to assist the Chef de Cuisinein managing his / her assigned kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration.
Commis - Pastry/Bakery
An ideal candidate will possess:
- 1 year work experience as Commis Chef or 2 years as Apprentice in a hotel or restaurant with good standards
- Basic Culinary skills
- Good hygiene knowledge
Guest Relation Officer (Female)
The potential candidate must ideally have:
- A relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
- Minimum 2 years' work experience hotel operations.
- Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Arabic language skills is a must

- إن الإلمام بأساسيات سلامة الغذاء أو إكمال دورة HACCP التأسيسية سيكون ميزة إضافية.
- خبرة عملية في أساسيات المطابخ مثل – الهندية / العربية / العالمية.
مساعد رئيس الطهاة - حفلات الولائم
يُفضّل أن يمتلك المرشح المحتمل المؤهلات التالية:
- خبرة عمل لا تقل عن سنتين كطاهٍ مساعد أو 4 سنوات كطاهٍ رئيسي في فندق أو مطعم كبير ذي معايير جيدة وخبرة خاصة في مجال الولائم.
- يفضل أن يكون لديه خبرة في العلامات التجارية العالمية الفاخرة.
- ستكون المعرفة الشاملة بممارسات النظافة في المطابخ ومعايير الصحة والسلامة المهنية ضرورية.
مساعد رئيس الطهاة
ملخص
- بصفتك مساعد رئيس الطهاة، ستكون مسؤولاً عن المساعدة في التشغيل الفعال للقسم بما يتماشى مع استراتيجيات شركة حياة الدولية ومعايير العلامة التجارية، مع تلبية توقعات الموظفين والضيوف والمالكين.
- يتحمل مساعد رئيس الطهاة مسؤولية مساعدة رئيس الطهاة في إدارة عمليات المطبخ المخصصة له كمركز ربح مستقل ناجح، وضمان أقصى قدر من رضا الضيوف، من خلال التخطيط والتنظيم والتوجيه والتحكم في عمليات المطبخ وإدارته.

يجب أن يمتلك المرشح المثالي ما يلي:
- خبرة عمل لمدة عام واحد كطاهٍ مساعد أو سنتين كمتدرب في فندق أو مطعم ذي معايير جيدة
- المهارات الأساسية في الطهي
- معرفة جيدة بالنظافة

يُفضل أن يمتلك المرشح المحتمل المؤهلات التالية:
- شهادة أو دبلوم ذو صلة في إدارة الضيافة أو السياحة.
- خبرة عملية لا تقل عن سنتين في إدارة الفنادق.
- مهارات حل المشكلات والمهارات الإدارية والشخصية الجيدة ضرورية.
