Responsibilities

• Cost Analysis: Oversee monthly cost monitoring and analyze the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

• Inventory Management: Manage stock control, monitor transfers, and oversee kitchen stores and warehouses.

• Recipe Costing: Collaborate with chefs to calculate item costs and develop precise menu recipe costing.

• Profit Optimization: Propose appropriate profit margins for each menu to senior management.

• Reporting: Analyze cost variances and provide corrective action plans, preparing weekly and monthly reports for the Finance Manager.

• Waste Reduction: Implement procedures to minimize waste and ensure optimal resource utilization within the kitchen.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven background in F&B cost control or financial management within the restaurant sector.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of F&B operations, including pricing strategies and inventory control.

• Technical Skills: Exceptional analytical and reporting skills.

• Nationality Preference: Candidates from India or Sri Lanka are preferred.
