Industrial Safety Excellence: Safety Officer for Precast Manufacturing Operations

Join RECAFCO, a pioneer in Kuwait’s precast and construction industry, at our specialized manufacturing facility in Mina Abdullah. We are seeking a highly disciplined and vigilant Safety Officer to oversee our industrial operations. This role is critical for maintaining a zero-harm environment during complex lifting, casting, and transportation processes, requiring a professional who excels in risk mitigation and rigorous HSE compliance within a heavy manufacturing setting.

• Safety Officer (Precast Manufacturing Operations)

Responsibilities

• HSE Governance: Enforce strict compliance with national safety regulations, internal company policies, and Kuwaiti local authority requirements.

• Operational Risk Management: Conduct daily inspections of plant and production activities, including high-risk operations such as lifting, casting, curing, and stacking.

• Safety Training & Culture: Lead regular "toolbox talks," coordinate emergency drills, and facilitate specialized safety training sessions for plant personnel.

• Incident Investigation: Perform thorough investigations into incidents or "near misses," identifying root causes and preparing detailed reports with corrective actions.

• PPE & Practice Oversight: Ensure the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and audit site practices to ensure 100% adherence to safe work protocols.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary safety liaison between senior management, plant supervisors, and field teams to foster a proactive safety culture.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related technical field.

• Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer within the Precast, Construction, or Manufacturing sectors.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of lifting operations, heavy machinery safety, and specialized precast industry standards.

• Certifications: Valid professional safety certifications (NEBOSH IGC / IOSH or equivalent) are highly preferred.

• Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical thinking, strong reporting skills, and the ability to manage safety protocols in a fast-paced industrial environment.

• Availability: Priority will be given to candidates available for immediate joining or on short notice.

المسؤوليات

• حوكمة السلامة والصحة والبيئة: فرض الامتثال الصارم للوائح السلامة الوطنية، سياسات الشركة الداخلية، ومتطلبات الجهات الرقابية في الكويت.

• إدارة المخاطر التشغيلية: إجراء عمليات تفتيش يومية للمصنع وأنشطة الإنتاج، بما في ذلك العمليات عالية الخطورة مثل الرفع، الصب، والتحميل.

• ثقافة التدريب والسلامة: قيادة اجتماعات السلامة الدورية (Toolbox Talks)، وتنسيق تمارين الطوارئ، وتسهيل الجلسات التدريبية المتخصصة لعمال المصنع.

• التحقيق في الحوادث: إجراء تحقيقات دقيقة في الحوادث أو "الوشيكة منها"، وتحديد الأسباب الجذريّة وإعداد تقارير مفصلة بالإجراءات التصحيحية.

• الإشراف على الوقاية: ضمان الالتزام التام بارتداء معدات الوقاية الشخصية (PPE) ومراقبة ممارسات العمل لضمان تطبيق بروتوكولات السلامة بنسبة 100%.

المتطلبات

• المؤهل العلمي: دبلوم أو بكالوريوس في الصحة والسلامة المهنية أو تخصص هندسي ذي صلة.

• الخبرة المهنية: خبرة لا تقل عن 3 إلى 5 سنوات كمسؤول سلامة في قطاعات الخرسانة مسبقة الصب، الإنشاءات، أو التصنيع الثقيل.

• الإتقان التقني: معرفة عميقة بعمليات الرفع، وسلامة الآلات الثقيلة، ومعايير السلامة الخاصة بصناعة البريكاست.

• الشهادات: يفضل بشدة الحاصلون على شهادات دولية معتمدة (NEBOSH IGC / IOSH أو ما يعادلها).

• الموقع: مقر العمل في منطقة ميناء عبد الله (الأحمدي).

• الجاهزية: الأولوية لمن يمكنه الالتحاق بالعمل فوراً أو خلال فترة وجيزة.
