Medical Representative(Injectables Botox & Fillers)
Job Description
Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;
Making presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses and pharmacists in the hospital. Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day, or may be conducted in the evenings at a local hotel or conference venue;
Organizing conferences for doctors and other medical staff
Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff;
Keeping detailed records of all contacts;
Reaching (and if possible exceeding) annual sales targets;
Must be able to define an overall strategy on an annual basis to drive sales growth in assigned area set by the Sales & Key accounts manager.
Demonstrate an effective understanding of competitive action in the assigned area and work to develop a plan to address problem areas
Prepare analysis and development for an overall methodology strategy on the current market and proposed to Sales & key accounts manager
Perform as required the sales prospecting activities.
Once the customer purchase has occurred, the medical representative will provide on-site product follow-up to ensure customers are satisfied.
Keeping up with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.
Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products services.
Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector;
Staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area;
Working with team managers to plan how to approach contacts and creating effective business plans for making sales in a particular area.
Medical Representative can spend much of their time traveling to and visiting with prospective customers.
Perform other related duties supplementary to the work described herein.
Skills
A qualified, experienced Medical Representative
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Kuwait
Has knowledge and understanding of relevant protocols and compliance guidelines.
Computer skills and ability to use the company data-base, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Bilingual - English/Arabic / Spoken & Written
Requirements:
Kuwaiti transferrable residency article 18
Kuwaiti driving license is a must
Bachelor’s Degree Pharmaceutical science
Experience in the same field is a must
