Role Description:
Medical Records Auditor - Hospital Sector
Educational/Professional Qualifications Required:
-College Degree in Nursing or another medical/paramedical profession from a reputed university.
-Excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Arabic preferred.
-Proven exposure to ICD-10 Coding is an asset.
Previous experience in handling Ministry of Health (MoH) Reports related to Medical Records.
Key Competencies & Skills Required:
-Strong background knowledge of Medical Records (MR) audit principles.
-Ability to work under pressure and within strict deadlines.
-Capability to edit and generate comprehensive Audit Reports.
-Strong negotiation skills and advanced communication abilities to address audit-related clinical matters with medical and paramedical staff across the hospital.
-Effective time management skills for handling a large volume of delicate audit-related tasks.
-Teamwork spirit and collegiality with other MR Department members.
-Willingness to perform minor tasks related to daily MR Department activities, in addition to the auditing routine, as needed.
Experience Required:
-At least 2 years of experience in MR audit activities in a healthcare setting (hospital, dispensary, polyclinic, clinic).
-Familiarity with basic MR practice policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Details of Work Profile/Key Areas of Responsibilities:
-Conducting audit activities for all types of MR audits, including Discharge Summary, Medication Reconciliation, ICD-10 coding, DVT Risk Assessment, Physical Assessment, and People-Centered Care (PCC).
-Following up on patient file delinquency (delay and incompleteness) or documentation deficiencies.
-Verifying the integrity of patient MR files in terms of paper components and orderly paper sequence.
-Maintaining MR confidentiality, job ethics, and proper standards of behavior at all times.

وصف الوظيفة: مدقق السجلات الطبية - قطاع المستشفيات
المؤهلات التعليمية / المهنية المطلوبة:
شهادة جامعية في التمريض أو مهنة طبية / شبه طبية أخرى من جامعة مرموقة.
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية مع إجادة اللغة العربية.
- التعرض المثبت لترميز ICD-10 هو أحد الأصول.
خبرة سابقة في التعامل مع تقارير وزارة الصحة المتعلقة بالسجلات الطبية.
الكفاءات والمهارات الرئيسية المطلوبة:
- معرفة خلفية قوية بمبادئ تدقيق السجلات الطبية (MR).
-القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط وضمن مواعيد زمنية صارمة.
-القدرة على تحرير وإنشاء تقارير تدقيق شاملة.
- مهارات تفاوض قوية وقدرات اتصال متقدمة لمعالجة المسائل السريرية المتعلقة بالتدقيق مع الطاقم الطبي وشبه الطبي في جميع أنحاء المستشفى.
- مهارات فعالة في إدارة الوقت للتعامل مع حجم كبير من المهام الحساسة المتعلقة بالتدقيق.
- روح العمل الجماعي والزمالة مع أعضاء قسم MR الآخرين.
- الاستعداد لأداء المهام البسيطة المتعلقة بأنشطة إدارة العلاقات العامة اليومية ، بالإضافة إلى روتين التدقيق ، حسب الحاجة.
الخبرة المطلوبة:
- ما لا يقل عن 2 سنوات من الخبرة في أنشطة تدقيق MR في بيئة الرعاية الصحية (مستشفى ، مستوصف ، عيادة ، عيادة).
-الإلمام بسياسات وإجراءات وإرشادات ممارسة MR الأساسية.
تفاصيل ملف تعريف العمل / مجالات المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
- إجراء أنشطة التدقيق لجميع أنواع عمليات تدقيق MR ، بما في ذلك ملخص الخروج ، وتسوية الأدوية ، وترميز ICD-10 ، وتقييم مخاطر DVT ، والتقييم البدني ، والرعاية التي تركز على الناس (PCC).
- متابعة جنوح ملف المريض (التأخير وعدم الاكتمال) أو نقص الوثائق.
- التحقق من سلامة ملفات التصوير بالرنين المغناطيسي للمريض من حيث مكونات الورق وتسلسل الورق المنظم.
- الحفاظ على سرية MR وأخلاقيات العمل ومعايير السلوك المناسبة في جميع الأوقات.
