CHIEF ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL & AUTOMATION - LIME & DOLOLUME PLANT
About the Job
We are looking for a talented and skilled Chief Electrical and Automation Engineer in the Lime & Dololime Plant to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for planning and executing all Electrical and Automation field-related works for the Lime Plant and overseeing the maintenance of plant machinery and its equipment. Analyze, observe, organize, plan, and ensure that the plant maintenance-related activities are established and implemented to prevent untimely breakdowns. Ensure all machines and equipment are in good working order.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Develop, review regularly, and establish the planned preventive maintenance plan, initiating necessary revisions to improve equipment availability.
- Control the Electrical & Automation maintenance budget and implement improvements in a cost-effective manner.
- Report major potential failures and problems with an action plan for repairs to higher management to finalize immediate opportunities for addressing issues.
- Prepare, review, and establish the economic level of spares and material stock.
- Ensure and supervise effective repair planning and major overhauls to acceptable standards.
- Prepare maintenance reports and check and approve permits, purchase requisition slips, material issue slips, etc.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for all project/spares/equipment offers related to the Lime Plant from OEM Suppliers.
- Perform design reviews and define the scope for the Technological Supplier. Responsible for project planning and monitoring the execution of work.
- Enforce staff discipline and ensure high standards of maintenance housekeeping and plant cleanliness.
- Perform other tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.
- Evaluate the individual performance of subordinates and identify training needs, designing training programs to improve the capability of each individual.
- Promote safety consciousness among subordinates and undertake all necessary control measures to ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.
- Work in accordance with company regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Must have 8-10 years or more of experience in project execution and maintenance of electrical machines and automation in a Lime Plant.
- Sound technical knowledge in plant automation, i.e., PLC, DC & AC drives, and related software and equipment.

قد تشمل الواجبات ولكن لا تقتصر على:
- تطوير ومراجعة بانتظام وإعداد خطة الصيانة الوقائية المخططة، وبدء التعديلات اللازمة لتحسين توفر المعدات.
- التحكم في ميزانية صيانة الكهرباء والأتمتة وتنفيذ التحسينات بطريقة فعالة من حيث التكلفة.
- الإبلاغ عن الأعطال المحتملة الرئيسية والمشكلات مع خطة عمل للإصلاحات إلى الإدارة العليا لإنهاء الفرص الفورية لمعالجة المشكلات.
- إعداد ومراجعة وتحديد المستوى الاقتصادي للمخزون من القطع والغيار والمواد.
- ضمان والإشراف على التخطيط الفعال للإصلاحات والإصلاحات الكبرى وفقًا للمعايير المقبولة.
- إعداد تقارير الصيانة والتحقق من الموافقات على التصاريح وإيصالات الطلبات وإيصالات إصدار المواد، إلخ.
- إجراء مراجعات فنية وتقديم التوصيات لجميع العروض المتعلقة بمشاريع / قطع الغيار / المعدات لمصنع الجير من الموردين الأصليين للمعدات.
- إجراء مراجعات تصميم وتحديد نطاق المورد التكنولوجي. مسؤول عن تخطيط المشاريع ومراقبة تنفيذ العمل.
- فرض الانضباط بين الموظفين وضمان معايير عالية في النظافة والصيانة للمصنع.
- أداء مهام أخرى تم تعيينها من قبل المشرفين من وقت لآخر.
- تقييم الأداء الفردي للمرؤوسين وتحديد الاحتياجات التدريبية وتصميم برامج تدريبية لتحسين قدرة كل فرد.
- تعزيز الوعي بالسلامة بين المرؤوسين واتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة للسيطرة على سلامة المعدات والأفراد.
- العمل وفقًا للوائح الشركة.
المؤهلات:
- درجة البكاليوس أو أعلى في الهندسة الكهربائية / هندسة الكهرباء والإلكترونيات.
- يجب أن يكون لديه من 8 إلى 10 سنوات أو أكثر من الخبرة في تنفيذ المشاريع وصيانة الآلات الكهربائية والأتمتة في مصنع الجير.
- معرفة فنية قوية في أتمتة المصنع، أي، PLC، محركات DC و AC، والبرمجيات والمعدات ذات الصلة.
