Aircraft Mechanic - Kuwaiti Nationals
Job Description
- Kuwait Airways is activity recruiting for the position of Aircraft Mechanic in the Engineering department, in this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Basic Function and Scope :
- Carries out under close direction a variety of skilled maintenance work on aircraft . Includes assisting and participating other mechanics in removing, checking, testing, repairing and replacing/reassemble of components, etc. Works under close supervision. Performs less skilled activities with close direction.
Tasks and Duties :
- a. Under close supervision removes components, installations, etc., from the aircraft. Checks condition of such items and draws supervisor's attention to nature of repair required.
- b. Uses a variety of hand tools including spanners, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc., to carry out repairs as directed and ensures repair has been properly carried out .
- c. Liaises with stores personnel to obtain supplies, materials, tools, test equipment, etc.
- d. Dispatches unserviceable components removed from aircraft to Salvage Stores and serviceable components to Receipt Stores. Monitors suspect items dispatched to Suspect Room to determine their serviceability to be sent to Salvage or Receipt Stores accordingly. Keeps record of components’ allocated stores.
Requirements
- Candidate must be a Kuwaiti National.
- Candidate age must not exceed 26 years old.
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance with a prior High School degree majoring in Science.
- The Overall GPA should not be less than 2.5 out of 4.0 points.

الوظيفة الأساسية والنطاق:
- ينفذ تحت إشراف دقيق مجموعة متنوعة من أعمال الصيانة الماهرة على الطائرات. ويشمل ذلك مساعدة ومشاركة الميكانيكيين الآخرين في إزالة المكونات وفحصها واختبارها وإصلاحها واستبدالها/إعادة تجميعها، وما إلى ذلك. يعمل تحت إشراف دقيق. يؤدي أنشطة أقل مهارة تحت إشراف دقيق.
