IT Technical Support
Hiring From Inside Kuwait – IT Technical Support
Job Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, Domain controllers, Exchange server, backup server, and file & print server.
- Configure and maintain EMC storage. Schedule and conduct back-ups.
- Monitor, plan, and coordinate the distribution of client/server software, service packs, and antivirus software updates.
- Supervise Data Center, including UPS provision.
- Identify and provide technical resolutions to operating system, server, and storage issues. Perform on-site and remote technical support or escalate calls as required by the complexity of the issue.
- Escalate issues covered by support contracts and unresolved server issues.
- Oversee technicians diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex issues on PCs, Servers, and SAN/NAS environments.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the IT Manager, including developing training materials and guiding lower-level technical staff.
- Provide training to staff and functional groups to ensure quality support.
- Recommend new equipment and services, work with vendors for procurement.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Handle moderately complex assignments requiring judgment, initiative, and effective problem-solving.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions and understand system operation.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify complex issues and develop solutions.
