Operations Manager
Full Job Description:
The Operations Manager oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision. This role involves anticipating and tracking operational and tactical risks while providing strategic solutions. The Operations Manager manages the day-to-day business of the operations department, balancing responsibilities across various business lines such as business analysis, vendor management, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with sales teams to help set and meet daily and quarterly goals.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
- Collaborate closely with the COO on special planning and departmental projects.
- Oversee and report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
- Identify trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
- Complete reasonability testing and information validation prior to circulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with back-office team members to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values.
- Work with transitions and onboarding teams as needed.
- Raise and track issues and conflicts, remove barriers, and resolve issues of medium complexity involving stakeholders, escalating to the appropriate level when required.
- Assess a variety of situations and provide clarity to the team and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, and external vendors.
- Solicit and respond to feedback while gaining commitment and support.
- Support back-office and firm-wide training programs, reinforcing technology and operations infrastructure between departments to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
- Stay up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being executed in accordance with regulatory-based best practices.
