Full Job Description
Position: Program Nurse
Position Purpose:
The Home Health Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care in the community setting to assist patients in achieving optimum health and quality of life in situations of chronic disease. The Home Care Nurse is responsible for the provision and management of effective nursing care to individuals and/or families in the community or in Patient Support Programs. The Home Care Nurse works in adherence with the Policies and Procedures set by Axios International and complies with established standards of nursing practices according to local and international rules and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Service Responsibilities
Based on the agreed-upon services and workflow, the Home Health Nurse provides skilled nursing services in accordance with the orders of a physician and under a plan of care. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Telephonic follow-up consultations.
- Monitoring vital signs during home care; blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oximeter statistics.
- Monitoring blood glucose levels, and providing teaching and support for patients and families.
- Preparing medications as per physician orders.
- Administering medications and instructing on medication such as injections, IVs, inhalation, oral, infusions, and rectal.
- Pain management medication monitoring and support for patients with acute or chronic health conditions.
- Education and counseling consistent with the type/nature of treatment and/or care management needs.
- Wound assessment and dressing changes.
- Providing general nursing care.
- Knowledge about advanced foot care will be an added value but is not a must.
- Monitoring pain control.
- Cardiac assessments.
- Supervision/health teaching and support for families and caregivers on a regular basis.
- Ability to assess mental status.
- Attending and completing Pharmacovigilance, Pharma, and Product Training provided by the Client with a clear understanding of how to collect and report safety data.
- Reporting adverse events and following country rules and regulations regarding AE reporting procedures, and reporting any concerns/changes in patient health to the program and/or treating physician.
- Reporting any adverse events/product complaints as per client’s requirements and/or Axios SOPPs.
- Familiarity with nursing equipment (like ECG machine, spirometry, and monitors) and the ability to provide nursing assessments to patients.
Organizational Responsibilities
- Reflecting and interpreting the Axios Vision, Mission, and Core Values in his/her own work with enthusiasm and commitment.
- Acting in accordance with relevant legislation and company Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
- Developing and maintaining respectful, cooperative working relationships to contribute to the integrated, seamless delivery of services to patients, families, and our clients.
- Understanding his/her role and responsibility in maintaining a safe workplace and reducing workplace injuries.
- Effectively assisting the Program Managers in managing the Patient Support Program(s) by liaising with hospitals, distributors, pharmacies, and patients.
- Working closely with the Axios staff to implement the required service(s) for the enrolled patients in the program(s).
- Carrying out home visits for patient care as required.
- Preparing timely monitoring reports (monthly) with patient numbers and logistics as well as quality assurance reports (quarterly) for internal review. This includes monitoring and tracking patient files in collaboration with Axios staff in “real-time” as patients proceed through the program.
- Maintaining and updating electronic program files, including patient and quality assurance data.
- Conducting administrative duties for the office.
Educational Background and Experience
- A BS Degree in Nursing is required.
- At least 2 years of working experience in a healthcare setting.
- Must provide evidence of local health authority license or eligibility letter.
- Excellent command of English.
- Demonstrate clinical nursing knowledge and experience in providing direct patient care.
Job Circumstances
- The position is based in our regional office and entails frequent travel to clients and partners, which may be outside your designated region.
- Flexibility in travel and working hours is essential.
- Travel to the UAE will be required for training (if needed).
- Must be certified in CPR and/or First Aid.
- He/she must provide a Good Standing Certificate not older than 6 months.

تقدم مربية الرعاية المنزلية رعاية شاملة للتمريض في بيئة المجتمع لمساعدة المرضى في تحقيق الصحة المثلى وجودة الحياة في حالات الأمراض المزمنة. الممرضة المساعدة هي المسؤولة عن تقديم وإدارة رعاية تمريض فعالة للأفراد و/أو الأسر في المجتمع أو في برامج دعم المرضى. تعمل المربية وفقًا للسياسات والإجراءات التي وضعتها شركة Axios International وتلتزم بالمعايير المعمول بها لممارسات التمريض وفقًا للقوانين واللوائح المحلية والدولية.
المسؤوليات والواجبات:
المسؤوليات الخدمية
استنادًا إلى الخدمات المتفق عليها وسير العمل، توفر مربية الرعاية المنزلية خدمات تمريضية ماهرة وفقًا لأوامر الطبيب وتحت خطة الرعاية. تشمل الواجبات ولكن لا تقتصر على:
- متابعة الاستشارات الهاتفية.

- مراقبة الأدوية الخاصة بتخفيف الألم والدعم للمرضى الذين يعانون من حالات صحية حادة أو مزمنة.
- التعليم والإرشاد بما يتماشى مع نوع/طبيعة العلاج و/أو احتياجات إدارة الرعاية.

- إعداد تقارير رصد في الوقت المناسب (شهرية) بأعداد المرضى واللوجستيات بالإضافة إلى تقارير ضمان الجودة (ربع سنوية) للمراجعة الداخلية. يشمل ذلك مراقبة وتتبع ملفات المرضى بالتعاون مع موظفي Axios في "الوقت الفعلي" مع تقدم المرضى في البرنامج.
- الحفاظ على تحديث الملفات الإلكترونية للبرنامج، بما في ذلك بيانات المرضى وضمان الجودة.

المؤهلات التعليمية والخبرة
