Job Title: Senior Airport Systems Mechanical Engineer

Location: Kuwait (2-3 year assignment)

Key Responsibilities
-
Work within the design compliance and construction supervision team in Kuwait for a 2-3 year period.

Supervise and review the design compliance of airside mechanical systems, including GPU, PCA, ABW, APW, ASW, aircraft fueling systems, Passenger Boarding Bridges, and more.

Oversee construction works related to airside mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Actively coordinate with the Resident Engineer and Airside Deputy Resident Engineer for Package 3 in the overall Project and Construction Management.

Coordinate with other disciplines within Package 3, such as Building, Land & Airside Infrastructure, and Utilities, and liaise with other packages as needed.
Your Profile
-
Qualifications: MSc / BSc in Mechanical Engineering or similar (lower degrees will not be accepted).

Experience: Minimum of 15 years relevant working experience, including at least 10 years in Airport Design & Construction, with 8 years in a similar role on an airport construction project.

Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of airside systems including HVAC, fire safety systems, stormwater drainage, and more.

Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with experience managing site supervision teams and resolving technical issues with contractors and stakeholders.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

Software Skills: Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and other similar tools.
