6G Pipe Welder/Fabricator
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Carrying-out required welding jobs and maintenance activities (preventive and corrective maintenance) by associating with mechanical technician as per maintenance SAP PM work order and giving back proper feedback.
- To perform welding / gas cutting work in EAF/LRF roof, shell, and EBT water cooled panel’s leakages in assistance with mechanical fitter.
- Assisting mechanical technician in correcting the identified abnormalities under the supervision of his superior.
- Assisting mechanical technician in attending breakdowns, minimizing delays and unplanned shutdowns.
- Implementing & following the instructions from the management.

Auto Electrician - Heavy Equipment
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Electrical Maintenance
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in steel production processes.

- Repair or replace defective electrical components, such as motors, switches, relays, and control panels.
- Install new electrical equipment, ensuring proper wiring, connections, and adherence to safety standards.

- HSE & Quality Responsibilities

Hydraulic & Pneumatic Specialist
- Executing the maintenance activities (preventive and corrective maintenance) of all the hydraulic systems & pneumatic systems with assistance from the mechanical fitter, as per daily checklists and SAP preventive maintenance plan.
- Inspection of responsible/allocated area system, reporting any major abnormality to the higher level and recording it in the logbook and checklists of SAP
- Execution of corrective action to eliminate the identified abnormalities with assistance from, Mechanical Fitter
- Thorough understanding of all the hydraulic systems & pneumatic systems and their circuits, and system components so that maintenance time can be reduced by solving the problems quickly to ensure the maximum equipment availability
- Implementing the instruction from the management
- Coordinating with other departments and working as a team
- Carrying out daily hydraulic oils of various systems, making the spares list, proper maintenance of systems, Equipment/ facilities/ carrying out repair works, and keeping spares ready.
- Studying the hydraulic & pneumatic systems circuit diagrams/ drawings, selecting proper tools for special/critical jobs, safekeeping, and working effectively to reduce maintenance costs.
- Responsible to have proper housekeeping and cleaning of equipment, tools, and work areas. Cleaning of equipment areas after any maintenance job
- Following rules & regulations of the company, such as company annual leave, medical leave, working hours, shift schedule, off days, and safety instructions and the rules specified by the Authority/ Ministry
- Performs other tasks and duties that maybe assigned by his superior
LRF Operator
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Attending toolbox meeting with his crew members, to address all the safe working practices, INIR’s, Hazard & Risk Identification’s, Ladder Safety, House Keeping and waste management.
- He should ensure that all required tools and tackles and consumables are available near the shop floor for his shift as well as for reliever shift to avoid any kind of delays.
- Must follow the shift relieving policy (handover &takeover of shift at work site) and also, he must ensure himself available at work site during working hours.
- Carry-out pre-operation inspection / check list, equipment trials and any abnormalities noticed to be reporting to immediate superior.
- Preparation includes taking trail movement of scrap & ladle transfer cars and preheater, scrap buckets, rail exchangers, purging lines.
- Performing the visual inspection of shell bottom, temperature measurement, EBT flapper monitoring (during closing).
- Fire watch of surroundings (Roof gantry, Tilting Cylinders, settling chamber and materials area) during EAF process and tapping.
- Reporting to EAF SIC for material issuances as per the stock availability at shop floor.
- Performing all the activities related to purging hose connection & di-connection. LF consumables, manual alloy addition arrangements at working floor.
- Perform Electrode preparation activity like nipple fixing and lifting spare electrode.
- Reporting to EAF/LRF SIC for material issuances as per the stock availability at shop floor.
- Electrode changing, adjustment & preparation and seeking assistance from EAF / LF supervisor.
- Perform cleaning of rail tracks, scrap car, and scrap charging area, tapping pit trench, electrode stands, and walkways.
- Assisting LF lead operator for cleaning of car tracks, material area, trench and roof.
- Perform the activities like gunning, fettling, cold ramming, EBT re-piping, EBT changing, end brick changing, lining repairs and door electrode changing along with his fellow men / refractory team.
Mechanical Technician
- Carrying out maintenance activities (preventive and corrective maintenance) as per SAP work order and giving back proper feedback.
- Inspection of responsible/allocated area equipment, reporting any abnormality to the higher level and recording it in the logbook and checklists in SAP.
- Correcting the identified abnormalities under the supervision of the superior.

Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Contributes to minimization of production cost by operating the crane at its optimum level with utmost care to minimize the usage of spare parts, manpower manhours and tools.
- Reading, understanding and complying with all work instructions, and safety procedures related to his line of work as well as complying with the health, and environmental standards of the company.
- Attends toolbox meetings with his crew members; addressing and contributing to safe working practice issues, incident report discussion, housekeeping and hazards and risk identification.
- Verifies that all lifting tools and tackles being used for rigging/hoisting are in good condition and that the usage is correct by the ground crew.
- Strictly follows shift relieving policy (handover & takeover of shift and work site) and must ensure that he is available at the work site during working hours.
- Carries out instructions and other related work being handed down by his superior.
- Carrying out the pre-operation check of his crane including test movements prior to his proper shift duty and any abnormalities found shall be reported to his immediate superior.
- Cooperate and take initiative in any projects that will improve the safe operation of the overhead cranes.
Security Guard- for Kuwaiti Nationals
- 4.1 Provide security to the office staffs, buildings, and properties.
- 4.2 Keep the premises free from all kinds of danger.
- 4.3 Look out for suspicious person, vandalism, or hazard.
- 4.4 Maintain all the security devices such as CCTV Surveillance System, Handheld Metal Scanners and Walkie Talkie etc. in good condition.

Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- To make, review regularly and establishes the planned preventive maintenance plan and initiate necessary revision to improve equipment availability.
- Controls Electrical & Automation maintenance budget and improvements in cost effective manner.
- Reporting about major potential failures, problems with action plan for the repairs to the higher level to finalize the immediate opportunity for attending the issues.
- Prepare, review and establish economic level of spares and material stock.
- Ensures and supervises the effective repair planning and major overhauls to acceptable standards.
- Prepare maintenance reports and check and approve the permits, purchase requisition slips, material issue slips etc.
- Technical review and recommendation for all project/ Spares/ Equipments for Lime Plant related offers from the OEM Suppliers. Design review and Scope defining of the Technological Supplier. Responsible for Project planning and monitoring the execution of work.

Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Provide proactive, solutions focused, legally sound advice and support in a timely fashion

- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to identify the underlying causes of failures and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Analyze equipment performance data, including failure data, maintenance records, and equipment histories, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to incorporate reliability considerations into the design and development of new equipment and systems.
Welder
Primary responsibilities:
- Interprets blueprint drawings and makes layout on the material to be fabricated using steel rule, combination square or compass, punch markers & others.
- Repairs broken equipment parts, leaking tanks, coolers, punctured pipes and fittings by electric arc welding using mild steel, cast-iron, stainless-steel welding electrodes or by brazing using aluminum and copper rods.
- Builds up worn out rollers, guides, troughs, aprons, brake slide, pump casing and other parts using mild steel, stainless steel welding electrodes and eutectic wire rod.
- Sets up machinery for different welding jobs as required using electric arc welding and oxy-acetylene welding.
- Weld spikes on roll grooves of roughing and intermediate stands as requested by production.
- Fabricates spare troughs, guides, brackets, steel cabinets, equipment housing, covers, racks, heat shields, inspection platforms, lance pipes of burners and various machine, mill and reheating furnace component.
