What You’ll Be Doing

• Customer Consultations: Provide expert advice to customers on how to alter and tailor garments to their preferences, helping them make informed decisions about their purchases.

• Alterations: Perform high-quality alterations on a wide range of garments, ensuring that each piece fits perfectly according to customer specifications. This may include shortening pants, adjusting waistlines, or adding customized details.

• Timely Deliveries: Ensure that alterations are completed and delivered on time, enabling customers to enjoy a personalized service and a seamless shopping experience.

• Customer Loyalty: By offering exceptional service, you will help maintain the store’s reputation for high-quality personal service, enhancing the company’s image and encouraging customer loyalty and repeat visits.

• Tailored Service: Focus on creating a unique and memorable experience for each customer, ensuring that their altered garments exceed expectations.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations, ensuring that customer needs are met quickly and efficiently.

• Work Environment: Ensure that the tailoring area and fitting rooms are clean and well-organized, maintaining health and safety standards.

About You

• Education: High school qualification with a diploma or certificate in tailoring.

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in the fashion industry as a tailor, especially in luxury or high-end garments. You should be skilled in performing various types of alterations and have a keen eye for detail.

• Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail in alterations and repairs.

  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and offering expert advice.

  • Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

  • Strong knowledge of fabrics and garment construction.

  • Passion for fashion and tailoring, with an awareness of current trends and styles.

• Work Environment: You will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, so flexibility, good organizational skills, and the ability to multitask are essential.
