Job Title:

Senior Purchasing Officer

Job Summary:

The Senior Purchasing Officer will be responsible for procuring materials, supplies, and services for the company while ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.

Core Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.

• Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with suppliers.

• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.

• Track and manage orders, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.

• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies.

• Manage returns and defective goods.

• Generate purchasing reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in the food industry.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (preferred).

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types:

• Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kuwait City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Procurement and purchasing: 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

• Arabic and English (Preferred)

ملخص الوظيفة:

سيكون المسؤول عن شراء المواد والإمدادات والخدمات لشركتنا مع ضمان الفعالية من حيث التكلفة والتسليم في الوقت المناسب. تشمل هذه الوظيفة البحث عن الموردين، التفاوض على العقود، إدارة المخزون، والحفاظ على السجلات الدقيقة.

المسؤوليات الأساسية:

• البحث وتقييم الموردين المحتملين بناءً على الجودة والسعر وقدرات التسليم.

• التفاوض على العقود وشروط الاتفاق مع الموردين.

• إعداد ومعالجة أوامر الشراء والمطالبات.

• مراقبة مستويات المخزون وضمان تجديده في الوقت المناسب.

• تتبع وإدارة الطلبات وضمان تسليمها في الوقت المحدد وحل أي اختلافات.

• الحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة للشراء والأسعار ومعلومات الموردين.

• تطوير والحفاظ على العلاقات مع الموردين.

• إجراء أبحاث السوق لتحديد الموردين الجدد وفرص التوفير في التكاليف.

• ضمان الامتثال لسياسات وإجراءات الشركة.

• المساعدة في تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات الشراء.

• إدارة العوائد والسلع التالفة.

• إعداد تقارير الشراء.

المؤهلات:

• درجة البكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال أو إدارة سلسلة الإمداد أو في مجال ذي صلة (يفضل).

• على الأقل 3 سنوات من الخبرة في مجال المشتريات أو التوريد في صناعة المواد الغذائية.

• مهارات قوية في التفاوض والتواصل.

• مهارات تنظيم وإدارة الوقت ممتازة.

• إتقان مجموعة Microsoft Office (Excel، Word، Outlook).

• معرفة باستخدام برامج المشتريات وأنظمة ERP (يفضل).

• القدرة على تحليل البيانات واتخاذ قرارات مستنيرة.

• دقة واهتمام بالتفاصيل.

• مهارات قوية في حل المشكلات.

• القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وكجزء من الفريق.

أنواع الوظائف:

• دوام كامل، دائم، عقد

القدرة على التنقل/الانتقال:

• مدينة الكويت: التنقل بموثوقية أو التخطيط للانتقال قبل بدء العمل (مفضل)

الخبرة:

• المشتريات والتوريد: 3 سنوات (مفضل)

اللغة:

• العربية والإنجليزية (مفضل)
