We are currently hiring for the position of Purchasing Officer
Location: Inside Kuwait only
Industry: Food & Bakery Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to maintain a steady supply of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging at competitive prices

• Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with local and international suppliers

• Ensure compliance with importation laws, customs regulations, and logistics processes

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles, preferably in the food or bakery sector

• Strong network of suppliers in local and international markets

• Familiarity with customs, import laws, and logistics operations

• Ability to implement cost-saving strategies and improve supply chain efficiency

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines

• Must be currently in Kuwait with a valid transferable visa

المهام الرئيسية

• تطوير وتنفيذ خطط شراء استراتيجية لضمان توفر المواد الخام والمكونات ومواد التغليف بأسعار تنافسية

• البحث عن موردين محليين ودوليين وتقييمهم وبناء علاقات قوية معهم

• التأكد من الالتزام بقوانين الاستيراد والجمارك وإجراءات اللوجستيات

المؤهلات والمهارات المطلوبة

• خبرة مثبتة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في مجال المشتريات، ويفضل في قطاع الأغذية أو المخبوزات

• شبكة علاقات قوية مع الموردين في السوقين المحلي والدولي

• معرفة جيدة بقوانين الاستيراد والجمارك والعمليات اللوجستية

• القدرة على تنفيذ استراتيجيات لتقليل التكاليف وتحسين سلسلة التوريد

• مهارات تحليلية وحل مشكلات قوية

• القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط والالتزام بالمواعيد النهائية

• يجب أن يكون المتقدم داخل الكويت ويحمل إقامة قابلة للتحويل
