- Kuwait Airways entered the jet age in 1962 by leasing a Comet 4-C, the world's first jet-engined airliner. To keep pace with fast-moving aviation requirements, three Boeing 707s were delivered in 1968. Ten years later, Kuwait Airways had an all Boeing 707 fleet of eight aircraft.
- In 1978, Kuwait Airways entered the wide-body age by taking delivery of its first two B747-200s, adding a third the following year. This expansion permitted Kuwait Airways to extend its network to New York to the west and Manila to the east.
- Modernization of the fleet continued, and four B727-200s were delivered in 1980-1981. Two years later, eight Airbus A310s and A300-600s were delivered, and in 1986 three Boeing 767-200ER aircraft joined the wide-body fleet.
- Following the destruction of its premises and 15 of its aircraft during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, the airline was relaunched. Moreover, the company was restored after the Liberation of Kuwait, and a basic strategy was constituted to expand its operations around the world. After the Liberation of Kuwait until 1998, the Kuwaiti Airways fleet consisted of 17 aircraft.
- In 2016, the airline was formally registered as a private company and its Corporate identity was rebranded to reflect its modernization and transformation.

- Responsible for patrolling around the security perimeter of Kuwait Airways’ headquarters, locations, and facilities. Prepares daily reports on the security situation according to the site, and continuously monitors his subordinates to maintain the company’s security.
- (A) Monitors the work of staff involved in loading and unloading baggage at all baggage areas (transit areas) to ensure that no baggage is tampered with or stolen. الوظيفة الأساسية والنطاق:
- مسؤول عن تسيير دوريات أمنية حول محيط مقر الخطوط الجوية الكويتية ومواقعها ومرافقها. يُعدّ تقارير يومية عن الوضع الأمني في الموقع، ويراقب مرؤوسيه باستمرار للحفاظ على أمن الشركة.
- (أ) يراقب عمل الموظفين المعنيين بتحميل وتفريغ الأمتعة في جميع مناطق الأمتعة (مناطق العبور) لضمان عدم تعرضها للعبث أو السرقة. كما يتحقق من وجود أختام أمان على الأمتعة وأختام على أبواب الشحن في منطقة الشحن بالطائرة. ويشرف أيضًا على حركة الأمتعة حتى وصولها إلى صالة الوصول.
- (ب) في حالة تلف الأمتعة أو فتحها، يتأكد من إغلاقها بشكل صحيح، ويسجل الملاحظات بشأنها، ويبلغ الأمر إلى رئيسه المباشر.
- (ج) يتواجد في محطة الشحن قبل ساعتين على الأقل من وصول الطائرة، ويتأكد من هوية موظفي الشحن، ويتابع عملية التحميل من محطة الشحن إلى الطائرة، ويشرف على العمال والفنيين على متن الطائرة للتأكد من هوياتهم، ويضمن عدم اقتراب أي شخص غير مصرح له من الطائرة. كما يتأكد من تسجيل أسماء جميع الموظفين العاملين على متن الطائرة بشكل صحيح.

- يُعِدّ دورات تدريبية جديدة أو مُعدّلة، ويُدرّب مُتدربي مركز الكويت للتدريب (KAC) أو موظفيه الدائمين على تقنيات وإجراءات الأمن، ويُحدّث ويُراجع ويُجري دورات المستويات الأساسية والمتوسطة والمتقدمة والتحويلية. يضمن توفير إمدادات كافية من المواد والمعدات ومرافق التدريب قبل تقديم الدورة. يُنسّق الترشيحات وتحديث بطاقات سجل التدريب. يُتابع أداء المُتدربين ويُحافظ على مؤهلاته التدريسية الشخصية. يُشرف على المهام الإدارية المُرتبطة بترشيح الدورات، وتجميع الملفات الشخصية، وحفظ سجلات الطلاب. يضمن دمج جميع إجراءات مركز الكويت للتدريب (KAC) الجديدة، واللوائح الدولية أو الحكومية، و/أو تغييرات المعدات، في مواد ودورات التدريب الأمني المُناسبة، ويُحافظ على مكتبة مركزية.

الوظيفة الأساسية والنطاق:
- يُعِدّ دورات تدريبية جديدة ويُدرّب موظفي جامعة الكويت وهيئة مطارات الخليج على خدمات وإجراءات مناولة الركاب ومراقبة الرحلات والأمتعة. يُمارس التميز في التدريس والتوجيه. يُظهر نموًا مهنيًا مُستمرًا، ويُواكب مستواه الأكاديمي الحالي. يُنفّذ المسؤوليات المُحددة في مجاله/مجالها، وقسمه/قسمها، و/أو برنامجه.
