1- HSE Coordinator - Kuwait Branch
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
The HSE Advisory/Support Service shall be inclusive of providing assistance related to all HSE concerns.
Through personal contact and field HSE advisors, ensure the required HSE data is provided on time for analysis.
Monitoring & advise line manager based on data analysis.
Ensure that HSE non-conformities are reported to management, on a timely basis, utilizing the established HSE procedures.
Advise/participate in the planning, scheduling, execution, reporting, follow-up and close-out of HSE self-verifications, inspection and audits as per agreed schedules and assist in closeout
Conduct regular site visits according to individual KPI and HSE plans and participate in self-verification, HSE Meetings and other HSE related activities such as Hazard Hunt, Roadshows and safety stand down etc.
Participate in development of HSE awareness presentations
Participate in the preparation of Hazard Alerts and HSE themes.
Participation in preparing & reviewing HSE documents & procedures.
Participate and aid line management in the investigation of incidents & near misses.
Participate in internal / external HSE & Quality management System audits.
Review unit HSE Performance and KPI’s and verify the implementation
Participate in the investigation and report preparation of all incidents for his assigned units as per Abraj incident management procedure .
Ensure the implementation of annual HSE plans and monitor and verify supporting documents
Ensure that required self-verifications, inspections and audits are carried out/witnessed as per defined programs and findings are reported to Unit Manager and line manager.
Communicate HSE concerns with the line manager and participate in solving the concerns .
Participate in management reviews, meetings and workshops whenever required .
Education: High school diploma / Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent. Work experience and demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
Certifications, Credentials, and Other Requirements:
NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent.
Must pass pre-employment medical screening as well as random drug tests
2- HSE Manager- Kuwait Branch
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Responsible to monitor the progress of his subordinates tasks and targets and advice & guide them for improvement
Responsible to ensure that his subordinates are regularly visiting their assigned sites on monthly basis and submit their visit report
Responsible to monitor the HSE performance of rigs and any identified gaps shall be highlighted to management for improvement
Responsible to liaise with all client under which these units are operating and to discuss and share all HSE related concerns
Responsible to present HSE performance of all rigs to management on monthly basis
Responsible to ensure that any incident happening at these units must be investigated and learning shall be shared with all employees
Responsible to conduct HSE MS audits as per annual QHSE Plan
Responsible to conduct HSE MS audits of Abraj contractors as per plan
Responsible to review and update HSE policies and procedures periodically
Responsible to prepare and disseminate annual HSE plan
Responsible for monitoring and enhancement of the company’s HSE standard and the provision of an HSE advisory & support service to the operational line.
Responsible to participate in all major HSE drills, audits and communication.
Responsible to attend client’s monthly, quarterly and annual HSE meetings and present Abraj HSE statistics and ensure that it is reported on time as per client requirement.
Identify both Occupational and QHSE training needs and make recommendations for the fulfillment of those needs.
Develop and maintain training program for HSE personal to elevate their competency level.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor degree, Work experience and demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
Certifications, Credentials, and Other Requirements:
Ø NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent
Ø ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 Lead auditor training
Ø Must pass pre-employment medical screening as well as random drug tests.
