Role Definition
To manage the closing of the External & Internal Audit Accounts, Tax declarations and compliance, for SSH group
Core Accountabilities
• Audit Accounts structure, closing, and compliance with local rules and regulations in the regions of SSH operations.
• Tax Compliance in the regions of SSH operations.
• External & Internal Audit across SSH group.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Addressing the local statutory accountancy requirements as per local laws and regulations in the countries of our operations, and this is mainly related to commerce, labour, and tax regulations
• Handling statutory reporting and required submissions.
• Tax Compliance
• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations (including VAT and Withholding Tax) in the countries of our operations, through developing and rolling out tax compliance policies throughout the business as required, and overseeing the implementation of the same.
• Handling tax declarations.
• Handling tax investigations
• Contributing to and driving tax optimization strategies.
• External & Internal Audit
• Handling the external audits over the Group consolidated accounts and the individual companies within the Group
• Ensuring alignment of the accounting and financial reporting practices with IFRS.
• Handling company evaluations and due diligence with respective consultants
• Providing support to the internal audit mandate as and when required, mainly driven by the relationship with the Audit Committee and the Group Internal Auditor. Such support could be on risk assessments, internal audit planning, and follow-up on actions required from management especially those of financial nature.

• A pro-active approach, able to work autonomously and use own initiative.
• High personal standards and a commitment to delivering quality information to deadlines.
• A critical eye for detail, accuracy and presentation. It is essential that the role takes responsibility for checking and critically reviewing their own work, as incorrect information or analysis can have serious implications for the business.
• An enquiring mind and desire to understand the story behind the numbers.
• Ability to understand, prioritise and manage internal customer expectations.
Digital Platforms
•Advanced Excel, Power point and word skills essential. Good presentation skills and interaction with senior management. Deltek (ERP) experience preferred.
Qualifications
•Bachelor degree or master’s in finance, Accountancy, Economics or related discipline
•CPA/ACCA or equivalent
•Has excellent knowledge of IFRS demonstrated through formal training certificates and/or IFRS qualification from a known organization.
•Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Big 4 audit firm in an external audit and/or tax role.
• Performed external audit and/or tax assignments for companies in the architecture and engineering industry and/or construction and contracting industry.
• Bilingual in English and Arabic.

لإدارة إغلاق حسابات التدقيق الخارجي والداخلي والإقرارات الضريبية والامتثال لمجموعة SSH
المسؤوليات الأساسية
• هيكلة حسابات التدقيق، والإغلاق، والامتثال للقواعد واللوائح المحلية في مناطق عمليات SSH.
• الامتثال الضريبي في مناطق عمليات SSH.
• التدقيق الخارجي والداخلي عبر مجموعة SSH.
الواجبات والمسؤوليات
• معالجة متطلبات المحاسبة القانونية المحلية وفقًا للقوانين واللوائح المحلية في البلدان التي نعمل فيها، ويرتبط ذلك بشكل أساسي بلوائح التجارة والعمل والضرائب
• التعامل مع التقارير القانونية والعروض المطلوبة.
• الالتزام الضريبي

• ضمان مواءمة ممارسات المحاسبة وإعداد التقارير المالية مع المعايير الدولية لإعداد التقارير المالية.
• التعامل مع تقييمات الشركة والعناية الواجبة مع الاستشاريين المعنيين
• توفير الدعم لتفويض التدقيق الداخلي عند الاقتضاء، مدفوعًا بشكل أساسي بالعلاقة مع لجنة التدقيق والمدقق الداخلي للمجموعة. ويمكن أن يكون هذا الدعم في تقييم المخاطر، وتخطيط التدقيق الداخلي، ومتابعة الإجراءات المطلوبة من الإدارة وخاصة تلك ذات الطبيعة المالية.

•Has معرفة ممتازة بالمعايير الدولية لإعداد التقارير المالية من خلال شهادات التدريب الرسمية و/أو مؤهلات المعايير الدولية لإعداد التقارير المالية من منظمة معروفة.
•الحد الأدنى من الخبرة 10 سنوات في شركة مراجعة الحسابات 4 الكبرى في دور المراجعة الخارجية و/أو الضرائب.
• إجراء التدقيق الخارجي و/أو المهام الضريبية للشركات في مجال الهندسة المعمارية والهندسة و/أو صناعة البناء والمقاولات.
• ثنائي اللغة باللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.
