CORPORATE LAWYER - SENIOR - LEADING FIRM - KUWAIT

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on local and international corporate matters, mergers, demergers, take-overs, including structuring, planning, and compliance.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and corporate-related documents.
• Assisting with audits, assessments, and due diligence.
• Working alongside senior lawyers to provide strategic advice to corporate clients, multinationals, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships, offering proactive solutions and business development ideas.

Key Requirements:

• A Law Degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized university; additional qualifications in taxation or corporate law are a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in tax law, with a strong focus on corporate advisory
• Strong understanding of Kuwaiti and GCC laws, regulations, and treaties.
• Experience working in a reputable law firm, or an in-house legal team within a multinational corporation, is highly desirable.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus though NOT essential)
• A proactive and client-focused approach to legal practice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• تقديم المشورة للعملاء بشأن المسائل المتعلقة بالشركات المحلية والدولية، وعمليات الدمج، والانفصال، والاستحواذ، بما في ذلك الهيكلة، والتخطيط، والامتثال.
• صياغة ومراجعة العقود والاتفاقيات والوثائق المتعلقة بالشركة.
• المساعدة في عمليات التدقيق والتقييم والعناية الواجبة.

• مهارات ممتازة في الصياغة والتفاوض والتواصل.
• إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية (اللغة العربية تعتبر ميزة إضافية ولكنها ليست أساسية)
• نهج استباقي ومركّز على العميل في الممارسة القانونية.
• القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وكجزء من فريق في بيئة سريعة الخطى.
