Position: Environmental Engineer

Details

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental and sustainability audits on-site, ensuring compliance with green certification systems, sustainable site operations, and client-specific standards.

• Review and approve materials for sustainability, ensuring adherence to environmental requirements and guiding supervision teams.

• Prepare reports on sites of non-compliance and support teams in implementing remediation actions.

• Lead site audits, report findings, and provide regular updates to the client.

• Collaborate with KEO teams and the client’s specialist teams to ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations.

• Write detailed reports associated with progress and site audit compliance, covering both environmental and sustainability/materials aspects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, preferably on large-scale projects in the GCC.

• Previous experience in environmental audits and sustainability compliance.

• Native Arabic speakers are preferred, as some departments require Arabic language skills.

• إجراء تدقيقات بيئية واستدامة في الموقع، وضمان الامتثال لأنظمة الشهادات الخضراء وعمليات الموقع المستدامة والمعايير المحددة من العميل.

• مراجعة واعتماد المواد للاستدامة، وضمان الالتزام بالمتطلبات البيئية وتوجيه الفرق المشرفة.

• إعداد تقارير عن المواقع التي بها عدم امتثال ودعم الفرق في تنفيذ إجراءات التصحيح.

• قيادة تدقيقات الموقع، وتقديم التقارير، وتقديم التحديثات بانتظام إلى العميل.

• التعاون مع فرق KEO وفرق المتخصصين من العميل لضمان الامتثال للوائح البيئية المحلية والدولية.

• كتابة تقارير مفصلة حول التقدم وامتثال تدقيقات الموقع، تغطي كل من الجوانب البيئية والاستدامة/المواد.

المؤهلات

• درجة بكالوريوس في الهندسة البيئية أو ما يعادلها.

• 12 عامًا على الأقل من الخبرة ذات الصلة في الهندسة البيئية، ويفضل أن يكون ذلك في مشاريع كبيرة في منطقة الخليج العربي.

• خبرة سابقة في تدقيقات البيئة وامتثال الاستدامة.

• يفضل المتحدثون باللغة العربية، حيث أن بعض الأقسام تتطلب مهارات اللغة العربية.
