Compliance Officer for Gulf Countries (Based in Kuwait)
The Position

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to lead our compliance program in the Gulf countries, supporting both local and regional initiatives to uphold the highest business ethics standards. The Compliance Officer will serve as the primary advisor to our country team, ensuring the consistent implementation of policies, training, and monitoring plans, while fostering a culture of ethical business practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure awareness, understanding, and enforcement of compliance SOPs and programs across the organization.

Exchange and share knowledge regularly within the Middle East region.

Monitor completion of mandatory e-learning training within the country and conduct necessary compliance training.

Act as a "Change Agent," implementing new compliance processes and guidelines.

Review local projects from a compliance perspective to ensure alignment with applicable guidance.

Support and conduct compliance monitoring, audits, and controls to ensure business integrity.

Identify the need for new or revised processes based on risk assessments and compliance trends.

Foster collaboration with regional and global compliance functions to promote synergies and best practices.

Lead the country compliance committee and organize local compliance operation visits and follow-ups.

Represent Roche in local trade associations and actively participate in leadership team meetings.
Qualifications:
-
University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or Life Science.

At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with 3+ years in Compliance (ideally with system management experience).

Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.

Strong organizational skills, strategic agility, and ability to work across commercial and medical environments.

High personal integrity and ethical standards.

Fluent in Arabic and English, with a strong understanding of Roche’s Code of Conduct and local regulatory codes.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

ضمان الوعي والفهم وتنفيذ إجراءات التشغيل القياسية وبرامج الامتثال في جميع أنحاء المنظمة.

تبادل المعرفة بانتظام ضمن دول منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
-
مراقبة إتمام التدريب الإلكتروني الإلزامي في الدولة وإجراء التدريب اللازم في مجال الامتثال.
-
العمل كـ "وكيل تغيير"، وتنفيذ عمليات وإرشادات الامتثال الجديدة.
-
مراجعة المشاريع المحلية من منظور الامتثال لضمان التوافق مع الإرشادات المعمول بها.
-
دعم أو إجراء مراقبة الامتثال، والتحكمات، والتدقيقات لضمان نزاهة الأعمال.
-
تحديد الحاجة إلى عمليات أو إرشادات جديدة بناءً على تقييمات المخاطر واتجاهات الامتثال.
-
تعزيز التعاون مع وظائف الامتثال الإقليمية والعالمية لتبادل أفضل الممارسات.
-
قيادة لجنة الامتثال في البلد وتنظيم زيارات ومتابعات عمليات الامتثال المحلية.
-
تمثيل Roche في الجمعيات التجارية المحلية والمشاركة النشطة في اجتماعات الفريق القيادي.
المؤهلات:
-
درجة جامعية في إدارة الأعمال أو المالية أو القانون أو العلوم الحياتية.
-
5 سنوات على الأقل من الخبرة في صناعة الأدوية، مع 3+ سنوات في مجال الامتثال (يفضل الخبرة في إدارة الأنظمة).

مهارات ممتازة في الاتصال والعرض والتدريب.
-
مهارات تنظيمية قوية، ومرونة استراتيجية، والقدرة على العمل عبر بيئات تجارية وطبية.
-
نزاهة شخصية عالية ومعايير أخلاقية.

الطلاقة في العربية والإنجليزية، مع فهم قوي لمدونة سلوك Roche والأكواد التنظيمية المحلية.
