Assistant Manager - IT Audit
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute IT audit engagements across diverse industries, focusing on IT General Controls (GITC), IT Application Controls, and IT risk assessments.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing data requests and providing timely clarifications.
- Perform and supervise fieldwork, prepare IT audit work papers, and document findings in accordance with ISA and the KPMG Audit Execution Guide.
- Review testing documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with audit standards.
- Guide and mentor junior team members, contributing to team development and capability building.
- Collaborate with engagement teams and clients to identify technology risks, evaluate internal controls, and deliver practical recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in drafting reports, presentations, and audit documentation for managerial review prior to client delivery.
- Participate in client meetings and discussions with Managers and Directors.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, cyber risks, and industry best practices.
Skills and Attributes for Success

- Proficiency in assessing IT architecture, infrastructure, databases, and business applications (e.g., SAP, and Oracle).

- Technical Knowledge of IT Audit Tools with excellent knowledge of IT Audit process and methodology.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc/M.Sc).
- 4–6 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk, or IT assurance (preferably within a Big 4 or professional services environment).
- Hands-on experience with ITGCs, application controls testing, and infrastructure reviews.
- Exposure to SOX compliance and internal audit environments.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP (preferred or in progress).
- Knowledge of frameworks: COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, COSO.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Exposure to ERP systems and data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI) is an advantage.

المهارات والصفات اللازمة للنجاح
- مهارات ممتازة في التواصل وكتابة التقارير.
- القدرة على إدارة مهام متعددة والالتزام بالمواعيد النهائية الضيقة.
- لاعب فريق يتمتع بإمكانيات قيادية وعقلية تركز على العميل.
- الكفاءة في تقييم بنية تكنولوجيا المعلومات، والبنية التحتية، وقواعد البيانات، وتطبيقات الأعمال (مثل SAP و Oracle).
- فهم جيد لعمليات الأعمال (المحاسبة، والفواتير، وكشوف المرتبات، وما إلى ذلك).
- معرفة تقنية بأدوات تدقيق تكنولوجيا المعلومات مع معرفة ممتازة بعملية ومنهجية تدقيق تكنولوجيا المعلومات.
المؤهلات والخبرة
- درجة البكالوريوس في علوم الحاسوب، أو نظم المعلومات، أو الهندسة، أو مجال ذي صلة (بكالوريوس هندسة/بكالوريوس تقنية، بكالوريوس علوم حاسوب، ماجستير علوم حاسوب، بكالوريوس علوم/ماجستير علوم).
- خبرة من 4 إلى 6 سنوات في مجال تدقيق تكنولوجيا المعلومات، أو مخاطر تكنولوجيا المعلومات، أو ضمان تكنولوجيا المعلومات (ويفضل أن يكون ذلك ضمن إحدى الشركات الأربع الكبرى أو بيئة الخدمات المهنية).
- خبرة عملية في ضوابط تكنولوجيا المعلومات العامة، واختبار ضوابط التطبيقات، ومراجعات البنية التحتية.
- التعرض لمتطلبات الامتثال لقانون ساربينز-أوكسلي وبيئات التدقيق الداخلي.
- الشهادات المهنية مثل CISA و CRISC و CISSP (مفضلة أو قيد الإنجاز).
- معرفة الأطر: COBIT، ISO 27001، NIST، COSO.
