Jasper Reporting Developer
About the Role:
- Position: Jasper Reporting Developer
- Location: Kuwait
- Experience: 5+ Years
- Preferred: Currently residing in Middle East
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Jasper Reports development (Enterprise Edition preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and building Temenos routines on Transact Core Banking
- Experience with JasperSoft Studio, JasperServer, and JasperReports Library and ability to deploy on Red hat OpenShift.
- Solid understanding of report parameters, sub-reports, input controls, and data adapters.
- Experience in deploying and managing reports in a production environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, Test and deploy simple/complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations using JasperReports Enterprise Edition.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional report specifications
- Optimize report performance and ensure scalability and maintainability of the reporting solutions.
- Integrate Jasper Reports with databases especially Temenos Transact Core Banking using Oracle Database, and Temenos Transact application, and web services.
- Manage and maintain JasperServer repositories, report scheduling, and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with Temenos Transact Core Banking team and other systems developers to ensure seamless data flow and integration by exposing the reports through Web services.
- Document all development processes, data sources, and report logic.
- Technical administration: Install, configure, and administer Jaspersoft Studio and JasperReports Server, and support build and deployment processes.

المهارات والخبرات المطلوبة
- درجة البكالوريوس في علوم الحاسوب أو تكنولوجيا المعلومات أو مجال ذي صلة
- خبرة عملية تزيد عن 5 سنوات في تطوير Jasper Reports (يفضل إصدار المؤسسات).
- إتقان قوي للغة SQL وبناء إجراءات Temenos على نظام Transact Core Banking
- خبرة في استخدام JasperSoft Studio و JasperServer و JasperReports Library والقدرة على النشر على Red hat OpenShift.
- فهم متين لمعلمات التقارير والتقارير الفرعية وعناصر التحكم في الإدخال ومحولات البيانات.
- خبرة في نشر وإدارة التقارير في بيئة إنتاجية.
