1- Freight Pricing Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Management of the pricing process, including new product pricing evaluation, set up, pricing period adjustments, and end to end ownership of the pricing process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align pricing strategy, profitability goals and expectations and provide data and pricing experience to answer questions, resolve pricing discrepancies, and create individual market approaches as needed.
  • Collect and interpret competitive pricing intel to align with the go‐to‐market pricing strategy, and work to ensure profitability alignment.
  • Update, maintain, evaluate, and distribute freight rates.
  • Analyze current trend and performance data and provide recommendations for pricing strategy improvements.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
QHSE Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Tracks and coordinates environmental health and safety programs for all DSV Kuwait.  
  • Tracks, Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace in coordination with the Warehousing Management.
  • Ensures and tracks HSE conduct on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices. Provide advice and counsel concerning all Warehousing /Sites. 
  • Develops controls for identified hazards. Coordinate the implementation of controls from results of hazard analysis. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures and recommend changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Assists in the development of specialized education and training materials. Conduct specialized safety and environmental training programs to communicate hazard control information.
  • Track, Compile, analyze, interpret, and report accident, loss, and exposure statistical data; prepare comprehensive recommendations for corrective action to eliminate or minimize potential hazards. Review injury and property damage reports.
  • Incorporate essential occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements in all purchasing actions.
  • Tracks & monitors records, performs record keeping duties, and prepares reports related to sanitation, safety, and pest control.
  • Remains current on applicable regulations and guidelines to effectively coordinate sanitation and safety programs and acts as resource for other facility staff.
  • Supervises HSE staff, communicating policies and procedures and overseeing Team administration.  

2- MHE Trainer (Warehousing)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering a consistently high level of technical skills training to MHE Operators across the operations area through a variety of warehousing activities.
  • Responsible for ensuring on-going competence of all MHE operators through the delivery of refresher training, workplace assessments and in areas where unsafe practices or following accidents / incidents are identified.
  • Proactive approach to ensure reduction in risk from MHE operators and develops learning from experience to prevent further risks where appropriate.
  • Responsible for assisting in the creation and documenting of safe system of MHE works and suitable and sufficient risk assessments of MHE activities.
  • Ensure hazards are correctly identified and control measures introduced to eliminate risks and ensuring these are trained out to all relevant staff.
  • Review the GAP analysis of the safety audits with shift Managers to ensure all areas are completed.
  • Works with the shift managers to ensure all training is completed and recorded in line with company policy.
  • Develops a site skills matrix that shows the skill level of all MHE operators and ensure that refresher training is completed within specified time frames.
  • Assist and advise in the investigation of MHE related accidents.
  • To participate as an active member of the management team, and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving site safety

3 - Procurement Specialist

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze industry and demand trends in order to support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
  • Identify new suppliers that meet guidelines and provide superior service to the organization
  • Strive to obtain lowest total cost on procured materials and best terms considering the quality and warranty
  • Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
  • Timely and complete processing of any PRs issued by end–user and PO.
  • Maintain Supplier relations
