YPO is seeking a Brand Manager to focus on meaningful storytelling that showcases YPO's synergies with current events, whilst also raising YPO’s external profile to key stakeholders, including prospective members. You will research, identify and tell compelling stories of YPO’s members and their thought leadership, focusing on producing relevant and thought-provoking content on a variety of platforms for the chief executives of today.
This is a high-visibility global role and requires ongoing collaboration with YPO management team members from all regional offices who must be able to represent the social media and PR teams across the organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategically identify key opportunities to promote the YPO brand to prospective members, key media targets, and critical influencers, increasing brand respect, relevance, and appreciation among the chief executive and business leader community.
Consult on the global editorial calendar and content strategy for YPO, including the creation and production of social media newsletters, editorials, LinkedIn articles, and YPO Presents, our livestream monthly event.
Assess virtual and in-person opportunities and recommend strategic content implementation to best raise YPO’s brand externally.
Attend select YPO global premier events, reporting on the latest thought leadership, trends, and key topics from members and speakers.
Research and identify YPO members at the forefront of newsworthy trends and innovative industries.
Monitor all YPO external communications to identify and ensure that YPO maintains a consistent voice and strategic message globally across key platforms.
Leverage cultural moments and conversations to connect with new audiences and expand our prospective member community.
Stay in-tune and up-to-date on current trends in media, social media, and brand marketing
SKILLS
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural organization with international members, helping them achieve excellence in voluntary roles for YPO initiatives.

EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND
Minimum of 4 years of social media and/ or brand marketing experience.
Demonstrated experience in content creation on multimedia platforms.
Experience in brand journalism
Strong professional and/or journalistic writing skills.
Excellent interview skills and techniques.
Knowledge of social media platforms and experience with live streaming and video editing programs.
Passionate for and in tune with the latest social media, media, and business trends.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, or a related field
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate members and team members in multiple time zones.
Willingness and ability to travel, domestically and internationally, without restrictions, approximately 15% per year.
