We are seeking a highly motivated Planning & Cost Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuwait. Position: Planning & Cost Engineer
Location: Kuwait
Experience: 3-5+ years (Preferably in MEW sector)
Industry: Construction & Engineering

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.

• Coordinate with project managers and teams to define project scope and objectives.

• Track project progress, monitor timelines, and identify risks with mitigation strategies.

• Prepare, present, and manage project reports and updates for key stakeholders.

• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.

• Conduct site visits to track project performance and compliance with schedules.

• Analyze project data to identify trends and develop strategies for future project improvement.

• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

• Use project management software to track and report project timelines.

• Create contingency plans for addressing delays and disruptions.

• Oversee subcontractor project plans and ensure they align with project objectives.

• Facilitate communication between teams for smooth project execution.

• Prepare cash flow reports and assist in invoicing and accounting with the finance team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project management software.

• Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience in construction or engineering project management.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of local and international construction standards.

• Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on team collaboration.

المسؤوليات:

• تطوير وصيانة جداول المشاريع التفصيلية باستخدام Primavera P6/MS Project.

• التنسيق مع مديري المشاريع والفرق لتحديد نطاق وأهداف المشروع.

• تتبع تقدم المشروع، مراقبة الجداول الزمنية، وتحديد المخاطر مع استراتيجيات التخفيف.

• إعداد وتقديم وإدارة تقارير المشروع والتحديثات للمساهمين الرئيسيين.

• المساعدة في إعداد الميزانية، التحكم في التكاليف، وتوزيع الموارد.

• إجراء زيارات ميدانية لتتبع أداء المشروع وضمان التزامه بالجداول الزمنية.

• تحليل بيانات المشروع لتحديد الاتجاهات وتطوير استراتيجيات لتحسين المشاريع المستقبلية.

• التعاون مع الموردين والمقاولين لضمان تسليم المواد والخدمات في الوقت المحدد.

• استخدام برامج إدارة المشاريع لتتبع وتقرير الجداول الزمنية للمشاريع.

• إنشاء خطط احتياطية للتعامل مع التأخيرات والتعطيلات.

• الإشراف على خطط المشاريع للمقاولين الفرعيين وضمان توافقها مع أهداف المشروع.

• تسهيل التواصل بين الفرق لضمان تنفيذ المشروع بسلاسة.

• إعداد تقارير التدفق النقدي والمساعدة في الفوترة والمحاسبة مع فريق المالية.

المؤهلات المطلوبة:

• درجة بكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية، إدارة البناء، أو مجال ذي صلة.

• شهادة PMP/PRINCE2 تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

• إجادة استخدام Primavera P6، MS Project أو برامج إدارة المشاريع المشابهة.

• خبرة في إدارة المخاطر واستراتيجيات التخفيف.

• مهارات تحليلية وحل مشكلات قوية.

• مهارات تواصل وشخصية ممتازة.

• خبرة في إدارة مشاريع البناء أو الهندسة.

• القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط والوفاء بالمواعيد النهائية.

• معرفة قوية بالمعايير المحلية والدولية للبناء.

• عقلية حل مشكلات استباقية مع التركيز على التعاون بين الفرق.
