Role Overview
The
Senior Project Engineer is responsible for executing, managing, and coordinating various engineering projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering and be capable of integrating their knowledge across multiple disciplines. Strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, are crucial to this role.

Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) for
1-3 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination:
- Manage the end-to-end execution of multidisciplinary engineering projects, ensuring they meet project goals and timelines.
- Assist in the preparation of planning, scheduling, and budgeting for engineering activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage resources effectively and resolve conflicts.
- Conduct technical reviews regularly and report on progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance across civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering domains, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions and project plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments, proposing mitigation strategies for potential obstacles.
- Create and approve technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, bills of material, and tooling.
- Coordination:
- Ensure seamless integration of civil, mechanical, and electrical systems in project designs.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure coordination between structural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and IT infrastructure components.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance and cohesion across disciplines.
- Resolve technical issues related to the interaction of various engineering systems.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with local industry standards, regulatory requirements, and design codes.
- Conduct on-site surveys and inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Manage project documentation in line with local regulations and standards.
- Implement quality control procedures, overseeing commissioning and final sign-off processes.
- Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- The role involves both office-based work and frequent field/site visits, with potential travel required.
- Fieldwork may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and the physical demands of site inspections.
Requirements
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) qualification is desirable.
- Experience:
- 6-10 years of experience in a project engineering leadership role, with significant experience in civil, mechanical, and electrical systems design, integration, commissioning, and validation.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering multidisciplinary projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in both design and field operations/maintenance.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CAD, CAE software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.), and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Experience with RF propagation simulation tools and RF testing (RFI, RF performance, etc.) is desirable.
- Knowledge in the design and integration of C2, C4 equipment, and systems is beneficial.

- التعليم والشهادات:
