Key Responsibilities and Duties:
· Prepare plans, details, specified and cost estimated of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical, and general piping system.
Provide technical advice to designers, supervisor, inspectors and contracting service providers, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.
·Analyze mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
·Prepare and deliver effective oral presentations whenever required.
Advise of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress.
Continually review and report changes to the construction schedule during the progress of the site works with regards to MEP services.
Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with MEP installations or general projects to the Program Manager.
Prepare & Review the installation method statements.
Review shop drawings against the design drawings for compliance with the design intent with appropriate comments/approval within the specified time limits.
Review mechanical shop drawings.
Where required prepare technical clarifications to the design to suit specific onsite construction and coordination issues.
Review mechanical services material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and advise.
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
Preparation of Design Drawings: AutoCad drafting of electrical construction documents.
Site investigations: Attend project site investigations to document existing electrical systems and equipment.
Lighting Calculations: Perform photometric illumination calculations of interior and exterior lighting designs to determine light levels as per RFP requirements and code compliance.
Product evaluation for legitimate CE or UL-listed products.
Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings or topographical maps.
Establishing construction, manufacturing or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
Electrical Systems Analysis: Short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash studies using power systems software
Electrical System Branch Circuiting: Prepare device layouts, branch circuiting, and panelboard schedules in Auto Cad.
Research and design HVAC mechanical equipment to meet client requirements in both large and small projects.
Consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, and work with other engineers, project managers, and construction professionals as needed to create and/or modify design parameters.
Analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation.
Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments in order to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new HVAC equipment.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Must speak, read, and write English proficiently.
Experience Requirements
5-10 years’ experience in MEP Engineering.
National Electrical Code Compliance: Knowledge of with key items in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and apply them to engineering designs.
British Standard 7671 Code Compliance: Knowledge of key items in BS 7671 and apply them to engineering designs.
Advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal organization departments, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
Strong coordination and organizational skills, with a strict emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must have the ability to work within strict deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Proficient in various AutoCAD systems.
