Job Title: Collections & Receivable Manager
Location: Kuwait

You will lead the collections and receivables processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while minimizing overdue balances and improving Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Your role includes team leadership, dispute resolution, report preparation, and strategy development to optimize cash flow and mitigate risks. Collaboration with sales, finance, procurement, and legal teams is key to resolving account-level issues. You will also support month-end/year-end closing and audit documentation.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee collections and receivables processes for accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution
Manage client follow-ups, dispute handling, and escalation to reduce overdue accounts
Review and approve reconciliations, aging schedules, and receivable reports
Develop collection strategies, manage deductions, and guarantee controls
Coordinate with business teams on deductions and penalties recovery
Analyze trends to identify risks, savings, and automation opportunities
Prepare and present collection performance and risk reports to senior management
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to IFRS and internal controls
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, procurement, finance, and legal
Lead, mentor, and develop the collections team to foster a culture of high performance
Support financial closing processes and maintain audit-ready documentation
Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional duties as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred
10+ years of experience in collections and receivables management with proven leadership
Strong knowledge of IFRS, provisioning, credit, and collection practices
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, and advanced Excel skills
Required Skills
Strong expertise in IFRS, provisioning, and credit/collection practices

ضمان الامتثال للمعايير التنظيمية ومتطلبات IFRS والضوابط الداخلية
التعاون عبر الأقسام مع المبيعات والمشتريات والمالية والقانونية
قيادة وتوجيه فريق التحصيل وتعزيز ثقافة الأداء العالي
دعم عمليات إغلاق الحسابات والحفاظ على الوثائق الجاهزة للتدقيق

المؤهلات
درجة البكالوريوس في المحاسبة أو المالية أو مجال ذي صلة؛ شهادة CPA أو CMA مفضلة
