A Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and health of employees and visitors within a workplace. They implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting safety inspections: Regularly assessing the workplace for hazards and potential risks.
Developing and implementing safety programs: Creating and managing safety training, emergency response plans, and accident investigation procedures.
Investigating accidents: Analyzing incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
Enforcing safety regulations: Ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) laws and standards.
Providing safety training: Educating employees on safety procedures, equipment usage, and emergency response.
Monitoring safety performance: Tracking safety metrics and identifying trends to improve safety culture.

Essential Qualifications:
