Application Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand customer needs and offer solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Support the sales team and provide solutions to customer technical issues.
- Visit customer site to gather technical information required to make proper customer proposal.
- Maintain healthy and excellent relationship with customers / consultants.
- Study technical specifications, prepare technical & commercial offers for projects and seek the Sales Manager’s approval.
- Communicate with Caterpillar Application Support Center to obtain technical information and support.
- Provide technical clarifications to customer/ consultant in order to obtain technical submittal approval.
- Assist Consultants and Contractors on Genset specifications and technical issues.
- Prepare technical specifications and package contents for Cat & Non-Cat items, obtain sales manager approval, and forward to sales controller.
- Inspect and witness test Genset and Non-Cat items at manufacturer’s premises.
- Arrange for inspection and witness testing at Al Bahar’s workshop for the customer. Ensure supply of equipment and execution of projects in a cost-effective manner.
- Prepare project scope of work for tendering; discuss technical and installation issues with contractor.
- Supervise installation project and ensure that work progress is on track while meeting project quality criteria.
- Ensure installation audit is carried out after project completion.
- Liaise and coordinate with the Head Office Technical Cell in matters related to project technical issues.
- Effectively coordinate the handover and closeout of projects with the Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer.
Educational and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the same field.

مسؤوليات الوظيفة:
- فهم احتياجات العملاء وتقديم الحلول لتلبية متطلبات العملاء.
- دعم فريق المبيعات وتقديم الحلول للمشاكل الفنية للعملاء.
- قم بزيارة موقع العميل لجمع المعلومات الفنية المطلوبة لتقديم عرض مناسب للعميل.
- الحفاظ على علاقة صحية وممتازة مع العملاء / الاستشاريين.
- دراسة المواصفات الفنية وإعداد العروض الفنية والتجارية للمشاريع والحصول على موافقة مدير المبيعات.
- تواصل مع مركز دعم تطبيقات Caterpillar للحصول على المعلومات الفنية والدعم.
- تقديم التوضيحات الفنية للعميل / المستشار من أجل الحصول على موافقة التقديم الفني.
- مساعدة الاستشاريين والمقاولين فيما يتعلق بمواصفات المولدات الكهربائية والقضايا الفنية.
- إعداد المواصفات الفنية ومحتويات الحزمة للعناصر التابعة للقطط وغير التابعة للقطط، والحصول على موافقة مدير المبيعات، وإرسالها إلى مراقب المبيعات.
- فحص واختبار مولدات الكهرباء والعناصر غير التابعة لشركة كاتربيلر في مقر الشركة المصنعة.
- ترتيب عمليات التفتيش واختبار الشهود في ورشة عمل البحر للعميل. ضمان توفير المعدات وتنفيذ المشاريع بطريقة فعالة من حيث التكلفة.
- إعداد نطاق عمل المشروع للعطاءات؛ مناقشة القضايا الفنية والتركيبية مع المقاول.
- الإشراف على مشروع التثبيت والتأكد من أن تقدم العمل يسير على المسار الصحيح مع تلبية معايير جودة المشروع.
- تأكد من إجراء تدقيق التثبيت بعد اكتمال المشروع.
- التواصل والتنسيق مع الخلية الفنية في المقر الرئيسي في الأمور المتعلقة بالقضايا الفنية للمشروع.
- التنسيق بشكل فعال لتسليم وإغلاق المشاريع مع مدير المبيعات / مهندس المبيعات.
التعليمية والخبرة:
- بكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية.
- - 3-5 سنوات من الخبرة ذات الصلة في نفس المجال.
