As a
GIS Specialist for High Voltage Systems, you will lead a team of technicians to perform preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, major overhauls, and installations of high-voltage (HV) Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) systems (132kV / 300kV). Your role also includes site investigations, fault detection, and restoration works, handling SF6 gas machines, and ensuring the safety and quality of operations.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Install, test, and maintain HV/MV GIS equipment.
- Work on Siemens Energy HV equipment such as 8D.1/2, 8D.4, 8D.Q, and 8DN8.
- Operate SF6 gas machines and be certified to handle SF6 systems.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials for the job.
- Troubleshoot and attend to urgent repairs.
- Prepare test protocols, method statements, and work schedules for HV GIS projects.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under minimal supervision.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- High personal integrity and work standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

المؤهلات المطلوبة
