We're Hiring! Graphic Designer
About Us:
Aafaq Publishing and Distribution Company, established in 2008, is one of Kuwait's leading book companies. As a distributor, retailer, and publisher, we have a strong presence in the region. We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to support the visual and branding needs of our diverse range of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design compelling visual content for print and digital media
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging social media posts, banners, and advertisements
- Design and update marketing materials such as brochures, catalogs, and promotional items
- Assist in maintaining the company's visual identity across all platforms
- Work on website graphics and ensure brand consistency
- Create visually appealing product packaging and promotional displays
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure quality production of printed materials
- Create and edit short videos for social media, and capture/edit product videos (this would be a plus)
Personal Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or publishing environment
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work across different mediums
- Fluency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written)
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to different design styles and trends
- Knowledge of video editing software and experience with product videography is a plus
- Knowledge of printing processes and preparing files for production is a plus

المسؤوليات الأساسية:
- تطوير وتصميم محتوى بصري جذاب للإعلام المطبوع والرقمي
- التعاون مع فريق التسويق لإنشاء منشورات وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي واللافتات والإعلانات
- تصميم وتحديث المواد التسويقية مثل الكتيبات، الكتالوجات، والعناصر الترويجية
- المساعدة في الحفاظ على الهوية البصرية للشركة عبر جميع المنصات
- العمل على الرسومات الخاصة بالموقع الإلكتروني وضمان تناسق العلامة التجارية
- إنشاء تغليفات المنتجات وشاشات العرض الترويجية
- التنسيق مع الموردين الخارجيين لضمان جودة إنتاج المواد المطبوعة
- إنشاء وتحرير مقاطع فيديو قصيرة لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وكذلك التقاط وتحرير فيديوهات المنتجات (سيكون هذا ميزة إضافية)
المتطلبات الشخصية:
- خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في التصميم الجرافيكي، ويفضل في بيئة تسويقية أو نشر
- إتقان برامج التصميم مثل Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, وCanva
- مجموعة قوية من الأعمال تعرض مجموعة متنوعة من التصاميم عبر وسائل مختلفة
- الطلاقة في اللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية (كتابة وتحدثاً)
- إبداعي، دقيق، وقادر على العمل تحت مواعيد نهائية ضيقة
- مهارات تواصل ممتازة وقدرة على العمل الجماعي
- القدرة على التكيف مع أنماط وتصاميم مختلفة
- معرفة ببرامج تحرير الفيديو وخبرة في تصوير المنتجات بالفيديو تعتبر ميزة إضافية
- معرفة بعمليات الطباعة وإعداد الملفات للإنتاج تعتبر ميزة إضافية
