Credit & Collection Analyst – Gulf Levant (Contractor)
About the job:
Purpose Statement:
Reporting to the Sr. Credit & Collection Analyst, the Credit & Collection Analyst role will be responsible for the affiliate account receivables and Record to Report (RTR) processes across the Gulf-Levant region (covering 10 countries). This position requires a result-oriented and team player individual, with strong interpersonal skills, who is autonomous and proactive in identifying and proposing solutions.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly accrual of customer rebates, working closely with the FP&A team to ensure accurate Net Sales reporting.
- Reconcile and review Balance Sheet accounts related to customer rebates.
- Manage the payment of customer rebates, ensuring accurate calculations and liaising with customers to resolve queries.
- Review and validate customer claims, ensuring documentation and approvals align with AbbVie’s policies and procedures.
- Responsible for collection activities related to past-due invoices, unearned discounts, disputes, credit limits exceeded, etc., for an assigned set of customers.
- Monitor accounts for potential risks and escalate to management as appropriate.
- Communicate monthly statements of accounts to customers.
- Collaborate with VLOG, Treasury, and customers on Bank Guarantees transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures and assist in defining, documenting, and implementing new processes to improve task efficiency.
- In collaboration with OEC, follow up with distributors to complete Annual Distributor Certification.
- Prepare necessary internal controls and mitigation actions for identified risks in Credit & Collection activities.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Establish strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (VLOG, FSS, Customers, etc.).
- Support the Finance Director & Financial Controller to ensure full compliance with all finance processes and procedures across the Affiliate.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and support projects as requested.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Economics).
- Minimum of 3 years of related accounting/finance experience required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent follow-up skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines with accuracy.
- Strong computer skills – Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems, Qlikview, PowerBI.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
- إدارة التقدير الشهري للخصومات الممنوحة للعملاء، بالتعاون الوثيق مع فريق التخطيط والتحليل المالي لضمان دقة تقارير صافي المبيعات.
- تسوية ومراجعة حسابات الميزانية المتعلقة بالخصومات الممنوحة للعملاء.
- إدارة مدفوعات الخصومات الممنوحة للعملاء، وضمان حسابها بدقة والتواصل مع العملاء لحل الاستفسارات.
- مراجعة والتحقق من مطالبات العملاء، والتأكد من أن الوثائق والموافقات تتماشى مع سياسات وإجراءات AbbVie.
- مسؤول عن أنشطة التحصيل المتعلقة بالفواتير المتأخرة، الخصومات غير المكتسبة، المنازعات، تجاوز الحدود الائتمانية، إلخ، لعملاء محددين.
- مراقبة الحسابات بحثًا عن المخاطر المحتملة وتصعيد الأمور إلى الإدارة عند الحاجة.
- التواصل مع العملاء بشأن كشوف الحساب الشهرية.
- العمل عن كثب مع VLOG، والخزينة، والعملاء بشأن معاملات الضمان البنكي.
- ضمان الامتثال للسياسات والإجراءات المعمول بها والمساعدة في تعريف وتوثيق وتنفيذ عمليات جديدة لتحسين كفاءة المهام.
- بالتعاون مع OEC، المتابعة مع الموزعين لإكمال شهادة الموزع السنوية.
- إعداد الضوابط الداخلية اللازمة وإجراءات التخفيف للمخاطر المحددة في أنشطة الائتمان والتحصيل.
- المساعدة في التدقيقات الداخلية والخارجية.
- إقامة تعاون قوي مع الجهات الداخلية والخارجية (VLOG، FSS، العملاء، إلخ).
- دعم مدير المالية والمراقب المالي لضمان الامتثال الكامل لجميع العمليات والإجراءات المالية عبر الفرع.
- إجراء تحليلات إضافية ودعم المشاريع عند الطلب.
